    I’ve found the key to be keeping my eyes hydrated. I mix my eye cream with black castor oil. Granted you don’t want to do this if you’re doing makeup soon after skincare. I do this morning and night on the days I don’t wear makeup and just at night on the days I do. Over time this has helped the skin not be nearly as crepey and has plumped up my lines. My concealer looks much better now!

      @amypoole178, I just bought some more castor oil and I am going to give your trick a try as I have puffy under eyes that are extremely apparent. Thx for the tip!!

    I recently put a light dusting of powder on my eye area before my concealer (menopause brain mistake] and being lazy I thought stuff it and just stuck the concealer over the top. It worked!!! I've continued doing it. Age 50 with wrinkles.

      That is my secret trick! I spray setting spray on my finger and pat it under my eye, then powder very sparingly, then apply concealer and again sparing with the powder. It stays all day and doesn't crease! Magic!

    I just use a small amount of concealer and focus it on the inside of the undereye with just a little on the outside edges, use a little bit of powder, a little hydrating spray to finish up and I never get creasing. Works every time. No weird techniques necessary!

    • @myfairyqueen8520

      And its also up to the concealer. I was impressed when I found a good one for me.

    • @-EricaCartman
      @-EricaCartman 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      But what if what the discoloration needing covered up is almost only located on the outside edges instead of inside? It is more likely to crease when concealer and/or color corrector is focused there instead of on the inside. Consider yourself fortunate!

    • @KG9551
      @KG9551 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@-EricaCartman very true! I do have some discoloration there but not too much... Maybe the choice of product would be more important if that’s the trouble area. I like to use potted concealers, I find that way I can use a minimal amount, it covers more, and moves with my lines instead of getting stuck in them. The more liquid they are, the more I have to use and the more it creases.
      Have you tried anything like the Becca color corrector in the pot or the potted Nars creamy concealer?

    I’m wondering about putting the wand back into the container after it’s been dipped in powder?
    Eventually more and more powder will end up in the container.. compromising the composition of the concealer.
    So those who are going to try this..don’t double dip. Wash the wand off before putting it back in the tube.

    • @hodgeelmwood8677
      @hodgeelmwood8677 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      I would probably put a little powder in a tiny dish or something instead of putting the concealer directly into the powder container, but washing the concealer wand after makes sense too.

    I'm 53 and do have some fine lines under my eyes. I love the Natasha Denona concealer and I just make sure to use a small amount. I then set it with Urban Decay All nighter setting spray using my ring finger to pat that into my skin. I have no settling into fine lines doing it this way. I don't let powder touch my face (seems to dry me out).

I feel this hack is more for younger eyes, I suspect it will look aging on lined, crepey older skin.

    I feel like I would be compromising the integrity of my concealer by doing this.

      UPDATE: Tried it and added color with bronzer and it looks very natural and nice. I have textured undereyes (fine lines and some millia) and up close I can still see the texture, but nothing has settled into my lines or has creased or looks really dry. Used Haus Labs concealer and some Pixi loose translucent powder❤

      @@cyntheknitter9927 I meant inside the actual container of your concealer. Constantly dipping into your wet product with powder on the end of your concealer will change the consistency and ruin it

    Wah gak yakin dengan hack ini. Tanpa bedak aja masih sering creasing di bawah mata padahal sudah pakai serum concealer yang lebih ringan. Itu aja masih sering crack apalagi pakai bedak apa gak tambah kering.
