I already point the name servers to the cloduflare servers and I have a question: I want my domain that I bought to be on the new infinite free hosting site, but I wanted to have cloudflare as protection, etc. It would be possible?
Basically I have the servers pointing to a different website hosting, I wanted to point to the hosting of my new website made in a different hosting from the old one, but at the same time I wanted to have the cloudflare service to better protect my website, you know?
After you configure cloudflare cdn you will specify in dns records via cloudflare which server you want to point domain. So your comment is doable

Domain name or domain extension doesn’t matter. The process is the same
Your videos are very helpful…i have a question…i have a domain name that i purchase through porkbun but have it registered on my cloudflare account…..on my dns records i see 2 A name records for my domain name…with two different ip addresses…both tracking back to amazon….is it normal to have two A records for the same domain name? And does cloudflare process their dns via Amazon?
The IP should be the webserver IP , thats the hosting IP. This can be 1 or more. But genererally is one.

Yes in the sense of speed of website and if you enable SSL this is helpful as well. More importantly, if you use cloudflare the right way, your visitors will experience a better faster and more secure website.

I thank you for the video, I have never felt so dumb in my life. It's like my mind will just not open up to understanding my own website. I have hired web developers...I ask them this one question..Where are the codes? what are they under in Cloudflare? I"m so afraid I'll touch something and break it.

So I can add other sites which is not belong to me. When I do any configuration change in cloudflare, does it mean it will impact the site? What is the security guard here to assure someone else is not legal to change the web hosting?
will it affect the site - depends on the change you made. do you have a specific setting? also, regarding security of hosting, thats a different topic but at minimum the firewall of cloudflare will help protect against web attacks.

@@jessloke7544 no one can make changes unless they have your login to cloudflare or your backend.

If this is a video for beginners; why does it not explain certain important things such as why to cache, about dns & other stuff? Really sorry but i don't understand half of this thing

@@Astralwebincloves It's great to have a quick response from you. I got my things now but I'd recommend to consider audience's mindset for any video.
I had difficulties with - 1. What exactly dns is and why to do those settings @ around 4min.
2. Would have loved some test on other websites.
3. Would have loved to check if there are any cons for this.
4. Also if possible, let us know what a particular thing means & then walk us through the settings.
5. Ssl certificate is one thing everyone is crazy about. There wasn't much info on that.
I mean no offense. Just some things I think could be done better. I am a marketer and such feedbacks are really valuable. Hope you think the same way
@@adityayekhe8882 1. DNS is the method you specify which domain name goes to which servers. There are many things to learn aboout it but focus is on A, CNAME and TXT records.
2. what kind of tests are you looking for?
3. SSL certificate is a mechanism to secure your data communication between your server and your visitor's browser which is very important and basic for todays websites.
As you are a marketer, i would recommend for you to find a developer that can help you for just a few hours of cost and you can focus on marketing. its fun to learn but can save you a ton of time to get a freelancer to help.
but it explains how to bring your money to gayflare, directly or indirectly!
