Si5351 + Si4735 DSP Radio Double Conversion - Update SSB Reception

- Si5351 + Si4735 DSP Radio Double Conversion - Update SSB (USB/LSB demodulation) added via Si4735 SSB Patch. The tuning of the HAM station is continuous and smooth, without sound cuts or muting (or the chuffing sound) typical of low cost DSP receivers.
I integrated in a single sketch (Arduino) the control of Si4735 and Si5351. I used the Arduino Nano.

New tests with my development board: reception of the Si4735 DSP acting in double conversion and in this way the tuning of the stations is continuous, without sound cuts or muting (or the chuffing sound) typical of low cost DSP receivers.
In the test I use the Si5351 clock generator as a local oscillator and send it to the Mixer SA612, which results in a 10.7MHz IF that is sent to the Si4735 AMI PIN input. The Si4735 in turn is tuned fixed at 10.7MHz, so the tuning is done in a continuous way by varying the frequency of Si5351. Another advantage is to use the filters and demodulation of AM or SSB done by the DSP.
Note: the antenna used in the test is a piece of 7 meter electric cable stretched inside the house. 73! - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
I was struggling with the muting issue during frequency changes on the Si473x and never thought to solve it by not tuning with the Si473x itself. You are a genius! Thank you!

добрый день! увидел еще один ваш проект и конечно хочу его повторить. но я так понимаю , что проект до конца еще не доделан. ... и хотелось бы в качестве дисплея увидеть что нибудь побольше например цветной дисплей 1.8 или 2.4 дюйма .good day! Esse seu projeto foi um dos mais bacanas que vi ate agora, desses "faça você mesmo". Adoraria montar um desses pra deixar na bancada ou ate levar nas trilhas que costumo fazer pra tirar umas horas preciosas de radio escuta. Você vende esse kit ou disponibiliza o projeto, tanto o eletrico quanto a escrita para o Arduino??

Como este projeto ainda é experimental e protótipo e eu o fiz para meu próprio uso e aprendizado, não tenho tudo documentado de uma forma que outros possam montar e ainda assim a programação do Arduino tem pontos incompletos. Pretendo em algum momento organizar todas as informações e compartilhar este projeto. Infelizmente não faço para venda, apenas para meu uso, mas agradeço o interesse. Obrigado!

Década de 90 montei um receptor com TDA7000 ,só por curiosidade , até que funcionava mas em dados momentos saia uma oscilação no áudio muito chata, invalidando o projeto.
Schematic? Software?

Hello RadioNino, thanks for your interest and for watching my videos. I don't have the schematics yet, but I prepared a block diagram of the receiver and also a draft sketch (not functional) serves only to have a basic idea (see below link). I intend to share the sketch and the final schemes, I will publish on the Arduino Project Hub as soon as the project is more refined and documented. And maybe I also have free time to make a version with the ESP32 and TFT display ILI9341 touch. 73!
