Gosh I wish I knew how cliff recorded that intro. 99% if me believes it’s bass but he never actually stated how it was recorded, and Metallica doesn’t even know themselves
@@CaptainRudy4021 yeah. You can separate the channels for a purified sound and you can hear one of the channels is high pitch and the other is the low baseline. You also didn’t keep the backing bass in this for the bass solos
@@stevenlee1075 that's only because I used the guitar hero tracks. Usually the backing bass is in the vocal track but there isn't one for obvious reasons.
Next, try a vocals only version.
Try 4'33" by John Cage

The harmony between Cliff and James is nothing short of amazing! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
2:59 i really loved this guitar riff
7:34 man it just fits in so well
Fun fact: solo at 6:20 is James!
Is it really?
@@krisztianszemak385 yes. If you listen closely, you can hear the strings being downpicked super hard. Classic James Hetfield playing style.
james cant make pinch harmonics
@@NotJuchif you ever get a chance to see him live, you will see and hear pinch harmonics all the time
Cliff's bass sounds so clearly
It's the 2nd guitar and the drums that really drown it out.
It's like Cliff is alive in this song, and I love it.
2:57 - 6:16 - 7:01

It's several tracks of both distorted and clean bass along with a few piano tracks
As for the actual tabs, it's up for debate as the chords in every track are slightly different.

pure art
Thank you buddy you just helped me learn the harmonies!
You're welcome :)
James isn't a lead. He's the rhythm. But I heard both lead and rhythm. So it's James, Kirk, and Cliff playing...
True but there's no rhythm tracks behind the solos
We’re listening to Kirk and cliff basically
No wonder cliff is bass God
Legendary
4:01 most blues metal shit ever.
Super Power
distortion parece um enxame de abelhas....
This is both guitars and bass.
You don't hear the rhythm guitar behind the solos
Orion on piano
Badass
Lead guitar organ and guitar only
There aren't any isolated organ tracks

Sounds great without Lars!
Gh
Jeez wtf lol

This isn’t lead guitar this is rythm and lead
