It was an epic matchup in the Big House between two storied programs. Welcome to the B1G, USC! It was an amazing game and the atmosphere was electric. It was a toss up game and is now an instant classic.

Ok, I was 6 years old for that 63 Rose Bowl. I remember it because it was haircut day for me and my dad had me on the kitchen stool (which I inherited and still had until it finally broke down for good 2 years ago) for my haircut with that game on tv on the smaller black and white portable kitchen tv. I remember the comeback and the clock ticking down and stopping the haircut for moments of scoring celebrations but just coming up short in the end. I believe we had the capital W on the helmet kinda Michigan style but with a W. Also, down the road, my dad flew Richter in small plane charters at times and then worked for him when Oscar Mayer (HQ in Madison) hired him as their Personnel Director and Oscar Mayer finally bought their first corporate plane and hired my dad as their first and chief corporate pilot. I also got a handwritten personal note from Bart Star when my dad flew him. Memories.

Wow - USC's QB was awesome and withstood a relentless, rough house barrage of quality D Linemen trespassing into the Pocket. Fantastic passer, truly. He rocked in the 2nd Half. Too bad UM's RBs and D Line ultimately got the job done in the last minute. Total Classic. Welcome to the B1G, SC.

"Welcome to the B1G" lol I love how these ppl use a random win to apply it to the whole conference. Watch what we do to the rest of the "B1G" lol

USC’s defense is still very vulnerable

I thought he did a pretty nice job trying to make that tackle. #20 was just like 'time for the 360'.

3 Michigan fans did cuss me and my fellow traveling USC fans out before and after the game. But yes by and large, a number of Michigan fans were hospitable.

That was such a great game. It had everything Mark, Interceptions, Fumbles, Punts, Game winning drives on the Ground! It was a vindicated win for the original B10. I appreciate Tim acknowledging that he had a good experience with fans in Ann Arbor. USC beats Wisconsin 31-17. Great show fellas👍✌

It kind of sounds like Moose and friends are the ones actually wining, and they barely won. Is that actually the deal they need their own excuses for coming within a yard of loosing?

Someone on an Ohio State podcast said Michigan dominated USC on the ground...what game was he watching? Outside of those explosives runs SC had Michigan shut down. If Lincoln wasn't conservative in the 1st half and SC didn't get jobbed by some blown calls by the refs this would've been a different game in that aspect as well. Great game and learning listen for sure. Fight on!

USC almost had it in the refrigerator, as a famous LA sportscaster use to say. Kudos to them. I just would caution on the only “if” type statements. One frustrating thing about the Badgers teams from autumn 2020 forward is we have too many Badger fans saying “only if” - if not for the penalties/officiating, if not for the turnovers, if not for the injuries, if not, if not, if not…” Having said that - lol - only “if” we had our starting qb for this game with SC it might be really competitive…. I hope we will be, but I don’t see it as being a close game through all quarters considering that, and that we really haven’t found our groove so far in the running game this season. We have the horses for the backfield, we just haven’t got it going like Badger teams/fans expect….

Holding on both sides to "let them play" I get. Close pass interference let go to "let them play" I get. Four personal fouls including two face masks, a horse collar and targeting (with injury and six minutes to review) is not acceptable ever. Bad ball placement and play clock error is not acceptable. These are "reviewed" on every play" according to the refs. Does the reviewer refs even watch the plays. This crew might as well not have been there.

It was a great game. MIchigan did what they had to do and won. USC showed incredible resilience in the second half, which would not have happened last year. Second half D adjustments were fantastic! D'Anton rules! It could have gone either way just as the LSU-USC game. This year's SC problem child is O-Line coaching and the WR coaching. We saw flashes of these problems in the LSU game. LR and O must make adjustments in scheme, play calling, pass blocking. If they can't get O going as the talent has flashed, then Night Night! Fight On!

FYI - Blue got robbed TWICE against lil o in The Game in 2 straight years under atrocious B10 officiating in 2018-19. One game was an overtime spot that was a laughably atrocious ghost when the officials gave the Babyz an extra yard to make the "spot". No NCAA semi-final as a result. Don't worry - unless your name is Suckeye, expect bad (compromised?) officials. Ultimately UM learned that we need to phatly crush lil o year-in year-out (like the last 3 years - 42-27, 45-23, 26-20), winning 3 straight CFPs and B1Gs. SC, with its amazing QB, will ascend to the top of the former P10 teams.

Nah bro, who you fooling. Michigan ran the ball 46 times, 46 times and there were multiple holds and Michigan didn’t get one holding penalty called on them the whole game? That is on heard of. And I can point out two major holds on two touchdowns runs. So are we to also say that cheap arse shot where Michai Lemon was blindsided, and had to go to the hospital? Or the horse collar on wide receiver Jacobi Lane? Should I go on? Miller Moss, face mask? The officiating was egregious!!3

@@WAHollier54how many holds called on USC? Plus that “fumble” that should have been called an incomplete pass

@Jleed989 No, he hit the ball, which caused the ball come loose as his arm was going forward. So it was a fumble
