This is a beautiful song, from the aussie singer John Williamson, this video is take to Steve Irwin's Memorial Service on Animal Planet. Hope you enjoy this like i do
i had a teacher that used to work at australia zoo as a volunteer and one day in 2006 she gets a phone call in the middle of class, which wasnt that weird. but then she just dropped to the floor crying then when she brought herself together she told us that Steve Irwin had passed away. it was crazy the impact it had on everyone. i still remember it till this day, great teacher, i remember how she got the whole school involved in planting like 1,000 native trees in the school grounds. i drive past the one i planted a lot and it always reminds me of the day steve passed on.
That's how us Americans felt when dale Earnhardt died. My teacher got a call dropped to his knees and cried. He made us drive our parents cars to school and do burnouts
Dunno what the school fuss was about: Steve Irwin should have left the damned sting-ray alone, rather than getting so close to it and discovering (to his fatal cost) what happens when one of these noble creatures does when threatened. He should have known (and probably did) what would happen if he frightened them in their natural environment.
@@alfredpersson2550 True @Alfred Persson, they are not aggressive creatures... but get on top of it, and frighten it, and it's likely to fight back to defend iself - in this case killing Steve in the process. F Hugh Steve Irwin was far from a ignorant, big mouthed, attention seeking, self promoting, dipshit that finally got what he deserved. He was very far from that. Yes very true. It was the week we lost Steve Irwin and Peter Brock another well known Aussie. I'm not Australian, and I don't believe I have any Australians in my family tree, but this video and having just recently been to Australia Zoo makes my heart beat Australian blood so much. True Blue, indeed. Love ya, Steve. The zoo looks amazing! P.S. Recently corresponded to John Williamson about what this song means to me. He was very appreciative and pleasantly surprised that this song struck a chord outside of Australia. Very humble.
I admit that when I watched CH for the first time I had said/thought, "This guy's nuts!" But the more I watched the less I thought that. I have never seen someone so passionate about wildlife. We all miss you.
I cried more at watching Steve's funeral than I did at my own father's funeral. Steve, you are a true blue Aussie legend and you'll live on forever in all of our hearts. Rest in peace.
Steve Irwin the force of the whirl wind of life. He lived his life to the fullest and never wasted a minute of life's treasurable moments. Steve Irwin was a blessing to the planet earth. He is sorely missed. My blessings and condolences to his family and to all those who loved him all around this great big world. Steve Erwin thank you for all the fun. May you rest in peace and shine down upon all of us. From above please help to keep our planet safe and in habitable for generations to come.
i was in middle school when steve passed away.....i was born and raised in the us to normal everyday american parents,,,but steve was my hero :'( i almost couldn't bear to go to school or even leave the house when my mom told me he was gone
Every time I hear this song tears well up & a few manage to slip out 😪 I really love this song ❤ And I miss the Crocodile Hunter 😪 .. This song has been going thru my head almost all day..(sigh)
Steve Irwin passed away on my birthday, while I was in the US Navy. Through he isn't here with us physically, he will ALWAYS live on in all of our hearts. I consider him more than just a hero, he's a "True Blue" legend, and legends never die
OMG, look at all the people openly weeping for and mourning Steve for all the good he'd done and the great legacy he's left behind. As sad as most of it was, I'll admit the end with them using the flowers to spell out the word "Crikey" had me chuckling a bit. I'll bet Steve would fully approve of every second of this beautiful memorial. I can imagine Steve in Heaven now, regaling everyone with tales of his adventures and talking about the beauty of God's creatures. Meanwhile, the day will come when that heartless sack of pus known as Bill Maher will be roasting in Hell for, among other things, openly mocking Steve's memory. RIP, Steve Irwin.
In sad times like this, it’s always wonderful to think that no matter where he is now in the after life from now on, he left a great legacy behind for his family and his fans! It’s 2018, and I’m still a big fan of his work! May Steve Irwin RIP forever!
Good ay DJ, RIP it means rest in peace but also means under current beware. On a beach the RIP can drag you to deep water and drown you. RIP beware my fellow travellers. But never panic. We have LIFE GUARDS in Australia that protect and Save. We are True Blue. True fucking Blue my brothers and Sisters. True pumping Blue. Safe Travels Love U All
Dear god it really has been that long hasn't it? On my local television they're airing a bunch of crocodile hunter episodes and just watching them reminds me not only of him, but of the love of nature he inspired in me, the desire to make life interesting, and to remember the experiences that make your life unique.
Thanks mate. You have heart. True Blue is about being a decent bloke and not shirking the hard stuff, giving everyone a fair crack, and (acknowledging that we are all special) not being too "special" yourself. Steve is still a legend and this still rips us up, but thank you for your comment, God bless you and the USA! Cheers!

Good on ya Angus, you can be an honorary Aussie mate!
I’ve been there
Best Aussie
Steve Irwin

dont worrie many felt like that
Every time I hear this song tears well up & a few manage to slip out 😪 I really love this song ❤ And I miss the Crocodile Hunter 😪 ..
Proud to be Australian knowing we have great hero's like steve
Steve Irwin was my idol when i was a kid, still is to this day, i tear up every time i watch this video.
R.I.P Steve Irwin

RIP Steve, you will forever be my hero
crying in brazil.. so SAD, rip steve
2016 is the 10th anniversary of Steve Irwin's death may he never be forgotten
Dear god it really has been that long hasn't it?
On my local television they're airing a bunch of crocodile hunter episodes and just watching them reminds me not only of him, but of the love of nature he inspired in me, the desire to make life interesting, and to remember the experiences that make your life unique.
I’m not from Australia, it’s a beautiful tribute, love from USA
Thanks mate. You have heart. True Blue is about being a decent bloke and not shirking the hard stuff, giving everyone a fair crack, and (acknowledging that we are all special) not being too "special" yourself. Steve is still a legend and this still rips us up, but thank you for your comment, God bless you and the USA! Cheers!

12 years later and his beautiful wife and his two remarkable children continue his amazing legacy proudly and to continue the mission of saving wildlife and preserving it. Steve would be looking down on his family with tears of joy, love and proudness! It’s 2018 now & there’s not a day where the world doesn’t miss this amazing man, Steve Irwin!! You were one of a kind, mate! RIP !!
I love that Robert recreated one of Steve's most iconic photos at tree same spot in the same clothes with the cam crocodile google it is sad but amazing
I remember it like it was yesterday, we lost Peter Brock and Steve Irwin in such a short period. I just hope Steve knew how loved he was, not just in Australia but throughout the world 😢
It hurts me a little knowing that I’m to young to have had this man be someone I could look up to when I was younger but he’s still a hero to my generation now.
A beautiful song for a lovely man who showed us all nature at its best, may his memory always be equated with what he achieved in his life !!
