Why would anyone ever be mad if eu won worlds. It’s literally just lpl or lck teams every year. It gets old. If any western team plays well enough to win worlds, it’s hype as fuck. Idc if it’s NA, eu, anyone. Eastern teams being the only teams contesting the title is boring.

G2 2019 was just something different. Not just individual good performacne but a real good team based arround trust, fun and a shared understanding on how to play the map.
the old drake i think refers to an older patch where the elder buff was equal to the total number of drakes killed in the game, not the drakes your team killed. that old drake would have given some unreal stats with 5 drakes killed.

Also like, when we used to play football (socceR) as kids we would shout out the famous player's names when we got the ball. It's kind of like that but they are playing in the world cup too lmao.
Reasons I love G2 is just no matter what roster it is, theyre always having the time of their lives and being friends meanwhile theres teams like TL where theyre all just coworkers
Showmaker, Canyon, Beryl, Nuguri, (Nuclear).. They weren't quite the players that they are now but damn.. they beat the shit out of them.. demolished them.. That final should have never happened the way it did..
I am a FNC fan since before the EU LCS. Despite that and the fact that I absolutely hate G2, this team was something else. It will be very hard to have another team like 2019 G2, they were practically perfect as a team

Tbh of every Worlds that we watched until now, 2019 really was the one where EU could have legitimately have won the whole thing and everyone would have said they really played like the winners of the world championship finals... but damn in League there will always be one asian team that tops our best huh

The team wasn't as hyped as 2019 g2 was before the tournament but they arguably had a better worlds run and were definitely favoured to win the finals by most people (at least in the western league scene)
