An affordable tool for lever locks might get intermediate pickers interested in these fascinating locks. I, for one, would love to see such a tool come to market.
My father has a moderately valuable collection in a display case of about 20 antique locks like this, each with a key (that was one of his requirements of the collection) that I've wanted to pick, but he won't let me. I'd also love to send them to you some day!
Patina is amazing on this lovely union. Such a shame there's no key with it to make it a complete lock. I've found the same as you with some lever locks. You can't rush it just little by little, be persistent and eventually you'll reap the rewards with an open. Nice open sir with some patience. Oh go on then I'll let you use my design for the almost perfect lever lock pick 😂 (video 213) 😉👍
its amazing how you are able to so easily bust these lever locks. btw which reminds me [since im indian and majority of our locks are lever] sir please make some help for your indian audience too, there are virtually no cost efficient pick sets available anywhere to buy.
How was the body of that lock made? Cast, machined from a big block, fabricated with a cover on one side to allow machining the internals, something else?

I really like vintage lever locks! I’m going to have to give them a try. Nice job picking and the video was excellent. Keep them coming. Thanks!

We had one of those on our shed when I was a child. I can remember it still as it was really heavy.

Never tried lever locks - I find the few tools I've seen very expensive. Are there any "beginner" sets recommended?
Better off making your own.
Nice job. Happy Holidays!

Could you get a key made for that union lock ??
You know you're old when Lock Noob is picking a lock he calls "antique" and you bought one new for your first house's shed...
Brand new to picking here - I don't know anything about these locks - Is there a way to fabricate a key somehow?
Nice lock. Could you try to make a key for this or not ?
Let's gut it
