For those who don't know, SWING GIRLS was a movie about some ne'er-do-well high school girls who formed a big band. What is particularly interesting is that actresses who played the roles actually performed the music themselves, and to promote the movie they went on a concert tour (thus this video). The girls were given several months of concentrated music lessons before filming so that they could play their instruments. PS--the girl playing the drums is really cute!
Poor girl on the trumpet solo just cant hit that high note, Well its not easy to do at all. Still a great performance. What I love about watching them, is you can see they truly love playing this music.
