- Come along with me to ngopi at Kopi Cukil, one of my favorite coffee shops in Bali. Kopi Cukil is a popular place to nongkrong, especially for the local artist community. The owner, Teguh Susanto, is an esteemed woodcutting artist, nature lover, and manual coffee connoisseur. Come to Kopi Cukil if you want to share your art, create collaborations, and enjoy top quality coffee.
After ngopi, I take you to my favorite warung in all of Bali - Nasi Pecel Pincuk Marem Nganjuk. Nasi pecel is a traditional Indonesian dish served with a legendary peanut sauce. You can customize what sides you want on your plate, so it’s easy to make vegan! If you come to Bali, I highly recommend this warung for a true local experience.

Bali is sacred for many reasons, but most of all, because of the beautiful-hearted people. I was only there for a few weeks, but this makes me homesick in the best way. The rain... the heat... the dogs... the food... it all comes back in the sweetest way. Thank you, Sydney!
