    Thank you after a year of euro nymphing I have been pondering how to get the nymphs in the river first and get a bit more tension on the early stages of my drift. Will give the tuck like cast a go.
    On those days when the fish are skitish of a long duo tone sighter, I have been using solid paint pens to add a 3 inch sighter strip higher up seems to do the trick.

      Thanks for watching. Good luck with the tuck and thanks for the tip on the sighter.

      I love that vest! I have both now. Just bought the lightweight one recently. My fave is still the vest backpack but both are excellent.

    I have the Moonshine Epiphany Ten-four, two-weight that I've been trying to use as I would a conventional rig, with much frustration. I can see from your instruction how I need to be practicing and fishing. Good video. Subbed.

    I have been doing this for 4 months now and use a circle motion to cast back up to start drift again. Almost like the motion of a whip. I find i get a tangle trying it other ways or flys rap up on themselves. Have been catching fish a lot and its fantastic feel.

      @pierrejoubert394 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're right, there is a circular motion to it. Almost like a constant tension cast like the Belgian Cast

    You say you are not using bright lines because the rivers been hammered and sun is bright. But you wear a bright blue shirt against the green hillside, very visible, with the bright red rod tube poking up over your head and outside the pack. Hmmm

    i see you guys are always hauling the rod tube and everything on your back. why could you not just hide your stuff in the woods? i understand if you are walking a long way inside the river, or of fear it get stolen.

      Hi Francois. We hide it when we are fishing on beats with the same track running into and out of the valley. In this case, its basically a circle route

    To be honest, this technic has its origin in the Čech Republic.
    So it's "ČECH NYMPHING" and not Euro Nymphing.
