This is how I felt for a long time and Toby Mac made a song out of it that I love ! I have been through so much and always loved Jesus and I thought of him like the wind, you can't see him but you feel him and know he's there. I could not be on my own doing so well without him in my life! And I always am comforted by him in my darkest times and I know he sends heavenly and earthly angels to us in our darkest times. Sometimes I cry because I'm doing so much better than statistics and with my ex controlling boyfriends I've been saved from. I'm doing so much better on my own with faith.

yeah. he's a Christian artist, but I know other people who prefer not to interpret it that way. It is alot more apparent when you equate the relationships he's singing about with God.
You can get as creative as you want, but there is still a true interpretation, and that is solely Tobymac's.
