Fabricator here. I know of zero industrial metal lathes that could handle anything like that weight, certainly not at any given speed to carve it effectively. If we wanted make those pillars today of solid granite would require massive custom machines.

I've been carving limestone, laying 200lb blocks. Using water saws, and a whole variety of power tools. It takes for ever to polish and limestone is soft compared to granite. For the life of me I can not understand how people with modern experience in the field are never consulted in the concoction of the academic theories. It's absurd.
That granite column is not possible by hand, it just can't be done. Not that level of precision, has to be a lathe. And Lord only knows what size of lathe that would require.

This video has been debunked by a historian. For ex. row of several small wholes on the "large stones made by ancient people" was a known and well documentated technique for the romans when they moved these large stones. The romans even made drawings on how they did it with the tools and the manpower, and we have found the tools.
And the stones are not "800 tons" either. Where did that numbers come from?
And who are "they"? Science is not a club or an common enemy. Have you ever talked to a scientist or read any published papers on this subject? They dont claim what this guy is saying they do, and they do not all agree either.
If you can find just a fragment of evidence to support a theory, you can publish a paper and possible get more scientists interested. For ex. if you find the drawings, you find the tools, and you find the stones....that would be great evidence. And they have done exactly that. And even this tour guide have to admit that romans did know who to move very large stones over large distances.
So....what are we left with that support the claims in this video? Nothing except some tour tickets ($) and a story about some lost civilation that generates views ($) on YT.
And my guess based on your answer, is that you have never read a paper on the subject so you even know what "the academics say".
      And yet.....you laugh. :)

    • @haknys
      @haknys 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

The row of small holes you see in the large stones (in the video) was a well knows technique used by the romans to move large stones like this.
Not sure why he claims they are made by some unknows ancient people with magic tools we cant explain. There is no evidence for that, they have all the signatures (like the holes) to be roman work....and they are found at a site we know romans did allot of work. And they found the tools.
And who said it was with "great ease"? If someone in 2000 years found a buried supercomputer, would one automaticly claim that we must have made it with great ease? They had amazing engineers, allot of manpower and generations of knowledge about stone work.
Romans was extremely tallented with stone work. Travel to Italy and look at some of it - it is amazing. No diamond or laser tools used for none of it either. ;)

Do you guys realize they don't teach those things for us in school at all. Because they don't have the answer for everything, such things like ancient technology can't be explained by academics. We need to be open-minded and understand that somethings in this world are beyond the knowledge that we once were taught. Even though I have my opinion about who or what made those megalithic constructions (which I think are the nephilims and fallen angels mentioned in the Bible) I still don't have the exactly answer or prove about the topic. If there is something we can learn or know for sure is that in the past there was a lost civilization that we are not taught in school nowadays. We have so many evidences about it in this channel, not only by the megalithic constructions but also because of the elongated skulls founded in many places around the world, which we have the DNA test results already. I love history, that's one of my favorite topics. By the way, I respect everyone's opinion or idea about who/what could have done those megalithic constructions.

Which passage does the Bible say the fallen angels fell on mount hermon because we just looked it up in Bible gateway search and nothing of the sort...
    We did find this though...
    Psalm 133:3
It is like the dew of Hermon,
which falls on the mountains of Zion!
For there the Lord has commanded the blessing,
    life forevermore.

Maybe they did use diamonds? For what requires diamond level technology, like maybe that's what they used to cuz granite and basalt and that's where semi modern and modern times artificially value gems like diamonds. Because we knew there's uses for them, but not sure what. Also maybe these places are reported on Because the technology itself, i.e diamonds, were stolen. And the thieves dont want to be spoken about

...AND... why the hell would anyone destroy granite-columns, of all things, and in that very, seemingly, repetitive and uniform-fashion?
Seems like, quite a difficult and pointless exercise in wasted-effort and energy.
I'd love to believe that an ancient cataclysm were the cause, and in many/most of the cases to which Mr. Foerster indicates that to be a possible explanation for the damages and destructions we see at many of the sites he visits and shares with us all, I tend to believe it, as well.
However, in this case, it sure looks like someone dismantled those many-columns, in that single scattered-field, with intention and in a fashion which makes it easier to remove them, all in their similarly-sized di-sections.

Hi Brien...I think you know my theory that there was giant creatures that drowned and there bodies were cut up and some ground up into building materials. It is shown in Chinese carvings grinding people up. At 15:25 I believe that is ground up flesh and bone and tendon (red granite) and used to make concrete.
The exact same material as the base stones that mated up with the inner UNEVEN blocks... the only way that was possible was to POUR the stone into a form and it filled the jagged void.....it is the surface polished cap stones I pointed out in your vid on the pyramid. Thank you my friend great work and time to consider my claims I think but up to you.

Roger - theories have to be supported by evidence. I know that evidence is not something you are familiar with. Sitting in a dark room, pointing at things you are utterly clueless about and have never seen yourself and making up nonsense doesn’t classify as a theory. Sorry. Leave science to those that understand it. You clearly never will.

Work stoppage was because the union went on strike. The laborers walked off the job because their contract had expired and there was not a fair collective bargaining agreement brought forth from their employers. In the end the employers broke the Union and tried to hire non-union labor which was in no way skilled enough to take on this type of task thus the Stone was abandoned.🤔
