I remember my parents getting this for me & brother one Christmas. We use to play the Crap out of this game all day everyday. Man this brings back memories God I miss the 90's
well this was a trip down memory lane. me and my friend could never get passed that moving truck part which I always remembered as a moving train lol. I was 6 years old so much fun
I had played this game quite often with a friend of mine. I had quite a bit of practice with it. It took a few attempts, like most of my videos do before I was able to have a nice semi-clean run.
Every single one of my videos have been done on a PS2 controller. It's just perfect. Well, if I ever do N64 games, I'll have to make a custom control scheme for each game, but that shouldn't be a problem.
I didn't know, or at least as longest I can remember that super nes released a double dragon in it's heyday, well I guessed wrong. Always loved this game the arcade version was my favorite the exception was double dragon 3 The sacred stones for 8bit Nintendo. How many late night's I stayed up playing at my friends when he had me over for the weekend and convinced my mom to let me stay the night a my friends so we could hang out. Those were the days, I certainly miss them even today.
This game was an SNES exclusive. It was never released to the arcades when it came out. But at least it's a rather decent game despite that it does have its flaws. Me personally, I enjoyed this game for what it was. Sure, it does have its problems. But at least it was playable and enjoyable. And it wasn't a complete train wreck like Double Dragon III.
If I knew someone who lived nearby who loved video games as much as I, I would love to be able to take the games I've done already that have co-op and make a new video going through it with two players. But I don't know anyone who lives close by... :(
Nunchaku is a killer weapon, MIssion 4 the best and nostalgic music, i remember my old days learning Judo, The movie was good too Duke and his gang are back on town,we must stop him!!! The legend of Double and dragon was never see again after their heroic acts
And good endings almost came as a shock. Startropics had one of the best endings for an 8 bit game I’ve ever seen. It made me mad so many developers put so little work into their endings.
***** De nunchakus maken het gewoon te gemakkelijk Maar gelukkig krijg je ze niet te vaak DD4 (SNES) is iid DE shit, hier ga ik je absoluut niet in tegenspreken Ok?? Nu heb ik zin in kaas
I know; Use to play with my brother until he moved out and we played different games since. He tried to get me to play RE5 co-op but I wasn't good at it or using a 360 controller..., I hate 360's D-pad; not a good controller if you're playing final fight and trying to do chain throws.
My name is derek im a fan billy lee of the video game super double dragon my move is when billy lee lock the bad guy arm he kick the dirt bag in the ribs when round house kick to the head super double dragon will be my old school game of the 1992
I didn't even know they made a double dragon for SNES!!! I played the NES versions way back in the day (actually I had an NES when everyone else had an SNES hahahaha!)
Final Fight, Double Dragon II, Ninja Gaiden & Ninja Gaiden II, River City Ransom, Streets of Rage II, The Simpons Arcade, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time are the best brawlers besides Super Double Dragon.
this is not the arcade version BUTTTTTTTTTT BUTTTTTTTT is very very good version of double dragon .. I think everybody must have the GENESIS version and then this one .. and the last one the GBA version very good too.
Decent game but there is nothing special about this DD. The game's speed is super slow, level design is basically dull, the enemies look very generic and the A.I. is abysmal and exploitable.

Out of all Double Dragon games this ones the best a very underrated game it's gotta be one of the best soundtracks
soundtrack is best for sure, gameplay too
yeah i was addited to this game, ok no.. but i really enjoyed it.
I remember my parents getting this for me & brother one Christmas. We use to play the Crap out of this game all day everyday. Man this brings back memories God I miss the 90's
There are such a great variety of punches, kick and moves on this one and the sprites look amazing! Love it.
This was my favorite double dragons ... I was about 12 years old when game released pure nostalgia
This was the first beat em up game that made me feel like a real martial artist. The blocks and counters were something I never experienced before.
well this was a trip down memory lane. me and my friend could never get passed that moving truck part which I always remembered as a moving train lol. I was 6 years old so much fun
my childhood memories fucking love this game
Best Double Dragon game since the original arcade version of #1.
I had played this game quite often with a friend of mine. I had quite a bit of practice with it. It took a few attempts, like most of my videos do before I was able to have a nice semi-clean run.
Probably my fav SNES beat em up, so good.
You forgot the nicest move. Double kick helps a lot since it does stun all the enemies preventing them from attacking
Every single one of my videos have been done on a PS2 controller. It's just perfect. Well, if I ever do N64 games, I'll have to make a custom control scheme for each game, but that shouldn't be a problem.
the best double dragon ever
Classics never dies
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Jeremy would have been glad to hear that another fan of the older games had watched. Jeremy’s dad

Man, I miss the 2D days... Had more of the beat-up and shooter genres that we hardly see today.
By the power of the Dragon!
cant believe this game didnt make it on Snes mini
I cant stop crying!! This is a very epic game THANKS!!!
Wow the game is so realistic, its better than the new fighting games these days...
Masterpiece ever. Greatness
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Jeremy would have definitely appreciated the compliment. Jeremy’s dad

Nunchaku is a killer weapon,
MIssion 4 the best and nostalgic music,
i remember my old days learning Judo,
The movie was good too
Duke and his gang are back on town,we must stop him!!!
The legend of Double and dragon was never see again after their heroic acts
Gunnar Eiríksson Yes! Mission 4's stage music is the best and most memorable. Man, I need a time machine.
This game is more fun in co op.
This game was the most sleep inducing game I ever owned
The music is just inspiring
IMO one of the most underwhelming last bosses of all time.
The bosses never seemed to announce themselves on this game. You didn’t even know you were fighting one until the stage was over.
this was my favourite double dragon back in the day,. Cool song all the way long as well :) 3:39
I remember beating the entire game by only using that 360 spinning punch move for every enemy including the final boss. XD
yeah its probably the best move
though in many TH-cam walkthroughs they hardly use it,
or simply not much
This just reminded me how old I am lol....good video.
I remember playing this game when I was 5, I found it very funny.
who is had a question how do you do that spin kick
I consider this one is the best on the series.
This no longer exists! Thank you history!
Great game, worst ending.. Games that didn't have ending always made me mad, I use to feel like I did so much and didn't get rewarded lol
Exactly! Felt cheated lol
And good endings almost came as a shock. Startropics had one of the best endings for an 8 bit game I’ve ever seen. It made me mad so many developers put so little work into their endings.
Better than Friday the 13th, nightmare on elm st or ghouls and ghosts arcade haha
I would have loved to have played this game. Unfortunately, I went to college when this came out. :)
its not too late
i thought that double dragon 1 was the toughest one of them all you need at least all 3 lives just to beat that game and all of the levels were tough
amazing game
I reminisce, I reminisce
You seem to be very good at this Game so am I, I beat it by Myself, and felt unsated but glad i did after a few tries.
Excellent.
Jeremy would say thank you very much, and so do I. Jeremy's dad
I ve always loved this game. Just wish you coulda used the swords from pink shirt guy
You mean Baker
As soon as you get the Nunchaku it's over for them!! LOL
yeah , but a bit cheesy
lol
***** De nunchakus maken het gewoon te gemakkelijk

He likes to get jiggy with it now and then ;)
This was fun to watch! Got to love the action
I loved this game
The fighting moves on this game where 2nd to none
LOVE THIS GAME !!!!!!
My name is derek im a fan billy lee of the video game super double dragon my move is when billy lee lock the bad guy arm he kick the dirt bag in the ribs when round house kick to the head super double dragon will be my old school game of the 1992
7:43 Disco Disco
I didn't even know they made a double dragon for SNES!!! I played the NES versions way back in the day (actually I had an NES when everyone else had an SNES hahahaha!)
The fat villain with the green hair looks like Krusty the Clown
WAAAGH!!!!! Double Dragon was an arcade game first abd foremost
Maquire
play this game at home but I can never do it how do you do it
I want a Nintendo 3DS remake.
I remember playing this. the only thing I didn't like about it the characters should of been bigger in size.
26:55 that dance tho ROFL
Final Fight, Double Dragon II, Ninja Gaiden & Ninja Gaiden II, River City Ransom, Streets of Rage II, The Simpons Arcade, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time are the best brawlers besides Super Double Dragon.
NYCJoeBlack Double Dragon arcade is the real double dragon
DOWN+A(KICK) THEN GRAB Y Y (PUNCH, PUNCH) THE THROW..... BEST COMBO. I miss this game want a good remake not the crappy neo geo knockoff remake
I swear that Billy was trained by Bruce Lee.
how do you charge up the bar at the bottom below your health
You do nothing. Just stand still or walk, no punching or kicking.
Hold L and R
I see you got the "Whose side are you on?" achievement. Make an enemy hit his own teammate with a weapon. 50G! Lol
I remember when I played this on stage six I would knock all of the enemies off the cliff hehe
Jimmy pic looks like randy ortin lol
Ditto.
I played this game to death!!! I couldnt get enough haha
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Jeremy would have been glad to hear that another fan of the older games had watched. Jeremy’s dad
La vieja escuela !
this is not the arcade version BUTTTTTTTTTT BUTTTTTTTT is very very good version of double dragon .. I think everybody must have the GENESIS version and then this one .. and the last one the GBA version very good too.
Vixe,o jogo nem tem final..
This is Japanese version and it much eazy than u.s version. Enemy are tougher and aggressive.
Super Texas foundation of hope (SNES 1991)
Damn I wish they port this game to ps
god how ihated the stupid meter. when it was full they looked like on roids and shit lol. ahhh memories.
StriderHiryu120 -- haha, I love their face when you use the special meter.
This game is kinda slow
Decent game but there is nothing special about this DD. The game's speed is super slow, level design is basically dull, the enemies look very generic and the A.I. is abysmal and exploitable.
Basura de juego... ni comparacion con final fight
super nintendo is the bad game
NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's the best one there is and no one will ever change my mind
