This is totally Jerry and Stephen Jone’s fault because they ignored the obvious problems that this team has. They failed to try to improve this roster by signing any free agents, such as a decent running back, and some offensive, and defensive lineman. It seems the Joneses don’t give a damn about winning, just about taking Dallas fans money.

They didn't wait until the day of our first game to sign Dak without a reason; to create as much drama as possible so that people would constantly be bringing it up. Same with CeeDee. Those are just two examples.

I give up - the " We'll Learn By This" or "I like our Group" is the definition of Insanity "Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result" It's not working, hasn't been working, and is in fact getting worse. Zimmer's scheme is not working and there is no way with the glaring deficiencies to fix it quickly.
If Jerry does not sign a RB and a solid DT then he does not care.
I think the DT situation is the one more urgent right now. If you stop the run then this defense can attack the opposingQB but the last two teams barely threw the ball, because they were running up our throats.

He’s talked multiple times about band wagon fans and some of us have been fans longer than he has been alive and are unhappy at the way the team plays.

What boggles my mind is. Defense played like a top 3 unit vs Cleveland. Then looking like Al Bundy can beat the crap out of them...Ive been watching the COWBOYS play since Superbowl 12. It's to the point where my gut tells me exactly what type of season it's going to be after 2 games. I wasn't expecting them to beat Baltimore 🤷 No expectations. No disappointments. Ive been a fan since 77 and the one specific thing that is apparent is that because of all of the attention the Cowboys get their players develop a massive ego. Until you get a coach who can humbe his player despite talent or record this team will never win another super bowl. Jimmy Johnson and Bill Parcels were that kind of coach. Soft spoken coaches will not work here.

When Jerry said they could not afford Henry he was speaking the truth. There is only so much money to go around. When you over pay one player, that money has to come from some other position group. No team has enough cap space to have all their postition groups without weaknesses. Its a matter of prudent spending. The Cowboys could not afford to give Dak the contract they gave him, period. They especially could not give both Dak and Lamb the contracts they both got. The thing is that Dak needs Lamb or his production drops considerable. When Jones extended Dak at 60 million, he basically destroyed any hope the Cowboys had into the length of the contract.
Dak personality lacks fire. He has a complacent personality. Giving him a guaranteed contract enables that complacency and that carries down into the roster. He has his guaranteed contract and he is perfectly happy as is. If not so he would register anger instead of his milk toast reactions. Dak is the problem people and its not just because of his production in the playoffs. His personality is a negative. It lacks the desire to win and level of anger at losing. I am better at evaluating personalities than football. These consequences were forseeable.
Blueprint- Punch Dallas in the face early. Score points. Isolate Dak. Shut down running lanes. Get receivers depressed. Run the ball through Cowboys holes. Run the clock down. Demoralize them. Win by 10 points or less.
Haven't stopped the run for years . Remember 2018 playoff vs Rams. Can't run the ball is it the rb's or Oline play ? Coach MC Fatty still doesn't know when to kick or go for 2. Doesn't really matter because when push comes to shove they couldn't stop the Ravens.

My Dad was a wise man to stop supporting the Cowboys after Jerry Jones took over and canned Landry and Johnson. He barely cared about the Johnson Superbowls and definitely didn't care about the Switzer one. After all these years staying a fan I have that one extra Switzer win and Dad has the Cardinals trip to the Superbowl. He didn't lose out on cheering for great teams along the way and has enjoyed getting further than any Cowboys team since then. He was right about Jerry Jones.
