I have really enjoyed watching Dan give interviews, I'm not like an obsessed fan, but I am a fan. What strikes me most about him is he's always present, genuinely excited and just has this natural sense of humor that comes through in all his interviews. He is really level headed and a great example of when parents are truly involved in making sure their kids remain grounded and in tact in an industry that can screw with your head and mess you up for life. Added to that is the fact that he isn't trying to dismiss HP, he'll always be proud of it, but he's so excited to do other things. And so far he has chosen wisely.
There is something very attractive about people who are passionate about the things they do in life. Daniel is such a person. I truly admire him for that.
He seems like such a nice, humble person. I'm not big on celebrity worship, but I think I'll make an exception in this case. (well... maybe not worship, but certainly admiration)
Re: Dan in Canadian interviews. I thought it was just me. I was tremendously impressed by the quality of several Canadian interviews with Dan. Very intelligent. I have the USA 'give me a sound bite' questions and answers.
Woman in Black is a pretty chilling movie, a must see if you haven't seen it yet. I'd recommend watching it during the day time and with lots of people around you though, maybe with your teddy bear present lol. Horns too.

What Daniel actually mean't was that he didn't want to ever be spoken about in the same manner as whoever the crew were talking about, He did NOT mean that there was any truth to what was said, nor was it aimed at anyone person in particular it was simply a statement refering to the crew talking about a collective group of individuals.
How do you know the crew were even talking about any particular actor? Maybe they just said, "Some actors..." and Dan didn't want to be a person that made others' jobs harder. You're taking a small comment and running wild with it.
