Bro, I won't lie, I jumped into the video, not knowing exactly what the full topic entailed, and still don't have a full working knowledge of the particular steps you showed (once I watch this a couple more times I will), but I truly feel as though I learned something. Anytime I had to do vector work for screen print production, I always had to create a Iayered PDF to account for the different colors being used. I can see the practical application of what you have shown here in relation to that. Continue doing what you are doing, I just recently found your channel and eagerly look forward to learning all that you have to show. Thanks for your time and effort spent on this stuff.
I’m sorry I just now saw this comment. The video was for a specific person for a specific question so I get it. You may not learn anything from many of my videos. I’m just helping people. I’m not trying to build a channel or change the world or anything. I know Corel and Adobe CC inside and out and I just try to help people when I can. If you ever have a question or separation you want to see done the most efficient way holler at me.
Hey @Activist Supply, I remember you had a video showing how to pull separations manually in photoshop. I'm looking for that video but can't seem to find it on your page. Do you remember the title of that video? Thank you!
Hey Tim, Which were you looking for Ps or Corel? I had two for Ps and one for Corel. I took them down because I made some small errors. I have about five ways I do manual spot process in Ps and Corel and am not great at talking on video. My goal was to pull that image all the ways I do it to show each way. Time to do videos was a big issue. I also kind of mixed up some things so I just thought I’d redo them when I could. Specifically, I use cmyk values when pulling by calculation and RGB when pulling by hsv. On my hsv video I used cmyk values. It was a mistake. I did those videos the same day. If you give me your email I’d be happy to share those with you if I can. They are still up but unlisted. I need to show every way and then show how I actually do it. Most images I use multiple methods plus do a lot that I didn’t show. I’m going to get back on videos soon. I have just been swamped. I need people to send me images to show my processes. I’m unable to show the predominance of my customer’s images. The ones I can show aren’t interesting. If people would send me questions, images, etc I would sep on video and do tutorials for people.
@@activistsupply6635 It was a photoshop video. My e-mail is TimothyMcElheny@gmail.com I am most interested in learning how to separate photographs into full color and greyscale separations for light and dark garments. I can send you a photo to use for a tutorial video for when you get the time. I understand that you're busy! I appreciate the time you spent so far posting these tutorials. Shoot me an e-mail and I can send you the photo so you have it for when your schedule frees up and you would like to share your processes. Thanks!
I’m glad you could use it. I was helping another separator that had a trouble image. They couldn’t get their gradient to output as halftones in AI so I made this real quick. Several of my last uploads have been helping specific people but I have three awesome videos that go over an hour. I have to find time to break them into sections then I’ll upload them. Thanks for watching.
