007:Bond 2005 01: Brosnan concept video

- Things were going slowly with the license for the next Bond game, so a group of us under the art direction of Dave Carson came up with this concept video with (the then current) Bond Pierce Brosnan.
I didn't do much of the art on this, taking on a Technical Artist role. I managed the scenes, sent them off to render and composited the first half of the animation (up to the leap off the pier) in After Fx. I also created the water (and caustics).
That was cool as fuck and Brosnan looked spot on
This just oozes Bond's style.
Clever use of some Everything or Nothing sound bites. Would've loved to see where this went but I'm glad From Russia With Love exists.

Was this going to be the planned game of "Phoenix Rising
" before they switched to "From Russia With Love"? It looks like it could've been a good game! 😉👍💖
I really like that bit at 0:58. A little too much gunfire on him for him to be alive, but that is a really good bit. Would love to see that in a game or movie.
This has a bit too much ''enemies that couldnt hit a barn door'' thing going on, but if that was fixed, i would want this as an opening in any of the depressing D. Craig movies. Bond is more fun when he's constantly got God Mode enabled.
By the way, RDPH Games, if I may, I was meaning to ask you a question regarding this game. Did it have a story treatment or a script ready and written? Did the game enter development on any engine? Or this concept video was as far as it went?
Not sure. I suspect there was at least a story treatment, if not a game design. Everything or Nothing design changed radically after pre-production (and a lot was added near the end of production too). But prepro for Bond 2005 (which would become From Russia With Love with Connery) was hampered with first Brosnan leaving the role and then no new Bond being picked up. With the Bond license, you didn't want to release with the old Bond just when a new exciting one had been announced. I'm not sure one was even announced during development, so going back to Connery was a really smart move. Plus he's the best!
Definitely. No shadow in doubt Connery will always be the best. I do wish however that 'Bond6' (that's what the articles called this game, then before it was 'From Russia with Love') contained more of an original story set in the sixties featuring Connery than adapting an existing storyline. My guess is... Bruce Feirstein was the writer of this game? I remember reading he was onto the next game's script, but that was before Brosnan announced his departure from the role in October 2004 (around the same time 'GoldenEye: Rogue Agent' came out?). An alternative could've been using an amalgam Bond like they did in 'Agent Under Fire', which I loved.

This whole video alone was better and more entertaining than that travesty known as No Time To Die.
They should of made this. Would of liked playing this on my ps2. Shame they Don,t make a bond game on the ps4 & xbox one.
