Sam Witwer was everywhere back in the day, dude portrayed Galen Marek, played Doomsday too, two of my favorite characters in comics and gaming, the man is a legend, his Darth Maul will always be the GOAT
For those who don’t get the ending, Clark flung himself and Doomsday to the tunnels of the old Luthorcorp plant and set off planted bombs to bury Doomsday alive in order to stop him.
I honestly think it would be kind of cool if, as an unintentional byproduct or something, Doomsday's adaptive power did let him change forms. I also wish someone would do a Smallville Doomsday compilation
Yea I was kinda wondering why Clark was facing Doomsday before he became Superman, but this was very entertaining. In reality,Even those bombs wouldn't stop Doomsday
It wasnt the bombs, it was the burying him in the ground. Obviously the point was to set up the death of superman when doomsday come out of a hole in the ground.
I found this version of Doomsday and his human counterpart fascinating. The dichotomy was amazing. Is it a man who houses a monster? Or is a monster who wears a man?
Your right. I think he was the most compelling character in the series. It seems the writers created a very complex character whom they couldnt handle and turned it into a beauty and the beast relationship with Chole when they should of focused on the relationship between Clark and Davis, especially since they suggested that Davis is Sageeth from the Kawatche legend and is Clark’s greatest enemy. They should of built on that. They got the premise of his character down and really could of made him the best villian in the series.
The fact this version of Doomsday was practical effects and still terrifying as hell made it all that more special in my opinion. Especially with the character being portrayed like a mortal being used to house the monster.
I wonder if doomsday would have ever adapted to not have a human form and that would cause him to spilt from the normal guy to become stronger and become the doomsday that would fight Clark when he’s Superman
If I remember correctly Davis was basically camouflage for Doomsday while he grew stronger. He was meant to shed the human form when he is in the fortress in a crystallised form but he comes out before the process is finished. Hence he is stronger but technically incomplete.
I would have loved to have this version of doomsday fight the superman from superman and louis. As in this timeline, it was clark kent, not superman and he would have been absolutely demolished before it even started. And that's why the character in smallville didn't try to kill him but bury him as he wouldn't have stood a chance. However, the fight in superman and lois was much longer and better. So take this doomsday and put it against superman in super man and lois and you got a banger.
funny part of this is they used the plant where they berried doomsday alive that's the same place they used for the underwater base in deep blue sea the first movie i always thought it looked familiar now i know why
I thought Sam Witwer was amazing in his role as doomsday. So much so, that I wish they hadn't gone so crazy with the transformation, because I personally found his human side far more terrifying.
doomsday is kinda like a state of being. it's like immense torture and pain. superman has became doomsday and same with bizarro. doomsday has sum toxin in his DNA that if u kill him then it can infect u. I'm not even talking about the shows, that's in the comics
@u59n 0 seconds ago This Clark even with his limited levels of power and inability to fly ... tackled and buried Doomsday a lot more easily than any of the Supermen. Later when he fought with Titan, he actually had good combative moves compared to slugfest-ing of most supermen Then he pushed Apokalips the planet away just on his first outing. Undoubtedly Smallville's Superman will have been the most powerful & skilled Superman - period. Tyler Hoechlin from Superman & Lois is second pound for pound powerful Superman I believe Smallville Clark would have also been able to endure Kryptonite like Tyler's Superman by then.
If you watch the very last episode of the show in season 10, Aaron Ashmore returns as Jimmy Olsen and the explanation is that the one that was killed off was Jimmy’s brother James (also called Jimmy). Pretty ridiculous stuff.
Well, Doomsday can't fly, and thank God he can't, because he's terrifying enough as he is. Even though in Smallville, Doomsday is made from Zod's and his wife's DNA, the other Kryptonians creatures DNA mixed in with theirs means that Doomsday doesn't have all of the powers that other Kryptonians have.

Is that SAM WITWER!? HELL YEAH, dude has such nerd cred
He is the goat
I wish he plays Silver Surfer in any point of his life
Interesting interpretation of Doomsday

Maybe not, but at least they slow him down
@@darthdracul8372 yep,for a second

It’s only temporary. Eventually Doomsday will get free and the rematch will begin.
Hell itself can’t even contain doomsday
I'm literally watching smallville again after 10yrs it ended now I'm watching it again on Hulu I'm on s1 right now
Smallville’s Doomsday walked so Superman & Lois’ Doomsday could run!
Holy moly guacamole doomsday looks even more terrifying in Smallville
I forgot how absolutely brutal the later seasons of Smallville were
😂

Yeah. The downward spiral at the end of the run, was not all that exciting.
Exactly like the Hulk in the old 70s show

His face design looks pretty comic accurate and scary at the same time
kenobi… KENOBI!!!!!!
Huh 😂
This adaptation of Doomsday was sick
0:00 There's no way the ice truck killer becomes doomsday!!!!
This version of Doomsday is terrifying
Ain’t got shit on the animated death of superman tho
Not here then the one from Superman and lois
Lol, no, he looks like wearing S/M mask 😁😁
@@LilSpookyyywell, no sh*t, drawing a monster is easier than trying to replicate one in live action
@@Ade.Bakariyou do remember that this is a 2000’s show, and that the budget was lower than nowadays shows? This is a stupid comparison to make
I swear this actor always mutates into something crazy
That looks awesome
I haven’t watched smallville in so long that I forgot Sam was in it and played doomsday lol
Superman couldn’t stop him but wait, surely this wooden stick will 😂😂😂
Starkiller used to be doomsday!?
Yes,Sam Witwer played Doomsday
Do more of Smallville

Doomsday’s going full STARKILLING mode
Here is the video of the Matriarch of Chaos of Titans; Halo and Doctor Fate of Young Justice, please? 🧙♀️🩸🌈🧙♂️
I take this version of doomsday over bvs anyday
Sam Witwer, o mesmo que faz o Deacon St John no Days Gone do Playstation 4.
That facility that Clark flew doomsday into is the same building from “deep blue sea”
In the sjow with the lighting doomsday did look a threat but when shown in still of just the costume leaves room for more
Do Clark Kent from all seasons.
Do you have rum low crossbones
Idc what anyone says, that Doomsday looks WAY better than the Ninja turtle from Batman V Superman or from Lois & Clark
Krypton had a great doomsday story and action
this is a way better depiction of doomsday than superman and lois
Stop it

What about doomsday from batman vs superman dawn of justice ultimate edition
rip Earth
that was the lex cloned one that well ... look like shit clumped together
@u59n it wasn't cloned he used general zod and his own blood that version was half human
Starkiller?
Isn’t this thing Kryptonian?
He’s ancient kryptonian.
Omg Starkiller, what happened to you??
my only problem this fight should've last long atleast
Clark wouldn’t last long in a slugfest with Doomsday. Smallville got it right.

Like Hulk on drugs. Oy vey!!
Love smallville, but this fight was so lame and under use, lol short as fuck
FIRST!!
Absolutely terrible take on Doomsday. Someday someone will get his character accurate in appearance, origin, etc.
Smallvile version has the most bizarre origin never liked this one not even the Kryton show version his comic origins interesting
This had to be the worst version of Doomsday ever created
This version was absolutely terrible
