Mirage 3 jet parachute fly-by ..

November 1999,shortly before the Swiss Air Force replaced their Mirages by F-18´s...
Mirage pilot Yves Rossy comes and say hello (his way) to his skydiver friends on his way back to the base....

This actually happened to me, once, while paragliding, with not one but two m-2000s in the Samoëns valley, French Alps:
After having taken off from a hill top and heading towards my landing zone in the valley below, two jets came out from a wedge in the crest opposite me (the valley between us, then) and followed the terrain at about 300ft height, one passed on my left, the other on my right.
I have had one “Maverick” moment in my life, it was this one ❤️

Wow! Love the way the pilot looks behind him, while an assortment of mountain peaks are looming on the immediate horizon....the flyby's are awesome! Love it!

That would be absolutely terrifying being under canopy and a fast-mover doing close flybys. I've been under canopy and had the cessna we jumped from flying by and it was a scary.

Anyone reading my previous comment (that I have now deleted) it's because I have since communicated with one of the skydivers who assured me that this was all planned. Personally I would have still sh!t myself however planned it had been!
