    When people reached out to me to ask for study route, I always said they should do courses in demand, eg social work. Most of them didn’t stick to my advise instead going for courses that sound good to the hear.
    I studied social work and 6 months to end of student visa I have had over 4 jobs with sponsorships.
    If it’s a couple as soon as they go into PSW it’s the same time the dependent should start doing a course that will come sponsorships

      Thank you Sir. Aside from social work, what else is in demand in the UK? Let someone evaluate all his options

      Between social work and Nursing, which is better in the UK, since you are in social work sector?

      @Okwume the two are good. If you have the funds, go for nursing. Else, Social Work is okay

      @@Donbo185 Asking for a friend, since both are two years program are the price for both very different?

      @Okwume it depends on the school you choose. You can check the prices on the schools' website.

    Thanks Daniel for your insightful updates. What advice can you give about civil service roles?

    • @DanielJesuloba
      @DanielJesuloba  26 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Civil service roles are great! But the salary and the role often determine if visa sponsorship will be given…
      But if you do not need visa sponsorship the civil service roles are the best especially for someone with a family..

      @DanielJesuloba Thanks for your response 🙏 I would be completing my schooling two months from now. I am targeting the roles that are between 30k.qnd 37k ... Would you advise I continue to pursue since I would still have plenty of time to go after sponsored roles ?

    For the couple one of them can also go for PHD as this allows for dependents as well .

    Thanks for your insight info on steps to take if someone wants to stay back particularly if you are on UK Post study visa. Aside, working in NHS healthcare that gives a staff the opportunity to stay back with (the family) dependant, can you help us talk on the jobs that can help or any certifications someone can secure to get sponsorship that would cover the family please

    Thank you for this information. I was just wondering, if one gets an admission letter, is it possible to switch to student visa while still on post study visa?

    Hi Dan, so my wife and I are considering coming on MPhil by summer. With the many irregularities, do you advise us to focus on another country?
    Also as a young person in the banking industry willing to upskill and not subject myself to blue collar gigs forever, what skills would you advise me to build a niche on. Currently I've revolved between event management, writing and banking.
    Many thanks for your resourceful response.

      Hi there, I know you directed this comment to Daniel but if you don’t my comment , here goes: the UK has been quite unstable and unpredictable with their immigration laws recently. The USA is a better option regarding education especially if you’re doing a PhD. Even if it’s a masters you wish to do, the USA is better because of the current immigration laws.

    Well done and thanks for the insight. But you can still have dependants on student visa, so long it’s a PhD or Master in Research courses.
    Thanks

    Thanks for the video. Please is it compulsory that a skilled worker must work for 37.5 hours per week or is 35 hours acceptable to qualify for a COS? Thanks

    • @olaniyanolawale9606
      @olaniyanolawale9606 27 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      No, there are no minimum or maximum working hours for a Skilled Worker visa. However, You must be paid at least the standard salary rate of £38,700 per year, or the going rate for your job, whichever is higher.

      @@olaniyanolawale9606thanks for your response, what of if the company that sponsored you couldn’t pay you £38,700 per annum and you secure a second job to augment your pay to £38700 a year. Will it be possible to apply to the HM office to bring in your dependant (child/children) in to the UK. Elucidate please
