Making Miles UI look like spiderverse is one of my favorite creative liberties they’ve done
The fact that they’re both different shows genuine care and attention to detail. Top tier hud overall though. Super simple and doesn’t take up too much space on screen. It serves its purpose without being cumbersome
I love how Spider-Verse and Marvel's Spider-Man are both releasing in similiar time frames just to hype up both gamers and people that love to watch spider-man
They did that back in 2018 and they are doing it again this year. They know how to hype up their fanbase

I personally love this symbiote suit and have an idea for why it looks the way it does. I think it might be a narrative choice to have certain parts seem solid and others seem alien. I think the tighter a hold the suit has on Peter, the more alien it'll become. Like in Spectacular Spider-Man. Either way, this shit rocks and I'm hyped

It could also be that the symbiote is trying to emulate/pretend to be his regular suit (plastic parts, all that), but is failing at it, since it's a living thing. Can pretend, but not perfectly.
Something I'm loving is how much more Spider-Man is utilizing the symbiote this time around, he's actually using the tendrils, bunching them up to make his punch stronger, grabbing multiple people at the same time, even the details with the eye veins and stuff is sick, apposed to when usually it just makes his suit black. Such a great decision 😁

@Sebastian Esquivel it's all good man. I poured so many hours into web of shadows and replayed soo many times. I k ow you can find it on pc but shattered dimensions may be a bit harder to find but trust web of shadows is such a great spiderman game. The web swinging I'd also one of the best web swinging mechanics ever. Tbh it's better than insomniacs by how free it feels and how fast you can go
That combat has me excited now for what they can pull for that Wolverine game man.

As hype as this is, the biggest tragedy is that we're going to eventually lose the Symbiote. We both love and hate to see it
It'll probably be like an unlock for after finishing the story or new game plus to have it active whenever since it's such a cool feature for Peter's gameplay, but I think canonically Peter will lose it throughout the story when Venom comes.
Well in the comics Black Cat gave Peter a regular suit that looks just like the symbiote so maybe they'll do that
Maybe he could create an artificial symbiote? peter's smart enough for it.
In web of shadows, a bit of the symbiote came off of venom and that’s how spidey got the suit. So they both had the symbiote at the same time. Possible we don’t have to lose the suit for venom to be around

The tendril slams and aggressive combat remind me of Web of Shadows so much. I think Miles fighting Peter is how he gets rid of the black suit this time around.

Yeah spiderman 1 wasnt sasuke because he didnt have that anger and grit. Now that he does, he really does feel like shippuden sasuke now and so many others have also noticed it. Its kinda funny actually.

A couple of spidermans symbiote moves are like straight out of Marvel vs Capcom 2. Seeing him do the splash move where he turns into a puddle and shoots tentacles straight up almost brought a tear to my eye. Im beyond hype for this

@@TheVIITV On the OG advanced suit the red parts are raised and slightly armored and the white parts are solid, so to me this seems like a decent way for the symbiote to interpret this version of his suit. Still looks a lil ugly tho with the football chest protector look

I watched it like 10 times and I can get past the shoulder pads, but the helmet look just keeps throwing me off and seems like it comes out of nowhere.

to me its the little subtle details such as when peter was saving that guy from the plane crash, and instead of putting him gently down, checking if he's okay, he literally threw him away on ground, then jumped back to try to catch connors like BRO I FUCKING LOVE IT

And judging from the initial animation where the symbiot thickens around him and then slims down to the actual suit makes think that’s how they’ll be able to do the different variations of symbiote for other suits.

This took the best elements of website of shadows and elevated them to another level. Everyone loved how you could change suits in that game and use venom powers.
I'm glad I aint the only one who was like "Kraven looking different, like his design aint bad but this aint Kraven" 😂.
Peter saving the civilian despite having the black suit highlights how although he's becoming more aggressive, his underlying urge to protect people is there.
Everything from the suit design to the combat is just chefs kiss.
I also predict miles is going to have to beat some sense back into Pete. Which is completely possible as the venom blast has been known to put Venom on his ass.

Looks and plays like agent venom with the helmet and shoulder pads, less like Spider-Man. I’m not really feeling it. I thought it would be a few tendrils to replace the mechanical arms. He’s full fledge symbiote on this. Might as well make Peter venom in this universe.

I think it's ok to take inspiration from agent venoms design, but it's definitely not a 1 to 1 comparison. The symbiote just gave him more protection in those areas, as they are vital.

So yes a Spider-Man symbiote suit with a helmet and shoulder pads looks exactly like agent venom to me and him turning into a mass of tendrils further reinforces the “venom” aspect in his “agent” look whether he uses ammunition’s or not. For me that is the objective truth.

An issue with that logic? If ur going 616 comics from the old days sure, because Spidey only thought it was just a costume and didn't think to expand on it's abilities, but Spidey in the Red goblin arc used more. That doesn't make him agent venom it just means he can actually utilize the symbiote more. It can also be argued it's the symbiote reading his thoughts(like it was stated to be able to) and coming to his aid.

An issue with ur logic here is it's VERY relevant to your point. What made Flash special compared to the other symbiote hosts IS his use of fire arms and military weapons to get the job done. No offense but u can't completely ignore a major part of what makes agent venom, agent venom. But then make the claim "he fights like agent venom". Because tbh, no he doesn't. Yes Peter in this game utilized the symbiote for offense and defense, but that's not a Flash exclusive trait. We still see his acrobaticism at play, something Flash wasn't that good at(he was more a brawler despite having military training).

1. The "shoulder pads" aren't as defined as Flashes were. His design was more pronounced and looked like actual football gear. Peters is sleek, not protruding or looking as much like armor as Agent venoms does. Dudes suit looks like combat armor. Ps5 Peters suit doesn't.
2. Agent venoms spider goes around his trapezious and meets on his back, Ps5 Peters doesn't.
3. He's missing spikes on the shoulders
4. He's missing the collar around the neck
5. I don't see any pouches on Peters symbiote
6. I don't see any defined boots on Ps5 Spidey,
7. I don't see any large gauntlets on Peter, despite having armors made b4 that which do.
No offense, but everything that makes agent venom, agent venom, Peter lacks here. Ur only argument is shoulder pads and a helmet but that's a universal thing. And even then Peter rocks it differently than Flash does.

The gameplay was fire, I love the simbiote suit, and I love the transition between Peter and Miles.
The way he pushes the civilian when he saved him in that last part tells you Peter is losing it, I think they didn't catch that detail even though we know what that suits does to Peter.

It's a key thing everyone missed with the logo. As the venom takes a hold of the spiderman logo you see electricity blowing it back first on the logo and then again on the "together" part. So it's totally miles who's going to stop the full turn

Man look, I like Spiderman as much as the next guy, but I was never DEEP into it. This video makes me feel like they finally got it right - finally, you can play as the characters with all of their potential.
