they can link "gifts", but can't let us have a sandbox mode. imagine if we could challenge our friends in a sandbox mode and then bet a "gift bundle" on the winner. missed opportunity by CG.
haha, that would be fun! It wouldn't work I think. Gambling isn't allowed in many countries especially in games. Most notably the EU I believe.
The issue with any gift is that players usually want the same in return - that opens you up to someone scamming guild mates out of cash, already seen someone say the were unable to purchase a return pack for someone due to some error saying the other player had already bought that lightspeed bundle - is that true, no idea but it creates mistrust and bad feeling in the guild.
Personally I would never participate in this type of store, it is not good for the game at all.
I agree with you. There is some errors so I hope your guild mate is acting in good faith. I have had multiple people attempt to do a trade with me since I’m a streamer. But, it doesn’t really work that way and opens me up to being scammed as well. I guess I’ll have to locate my Saudi Prince elsewhere!
My account is 1 month old and I’m not eligible for these bundles. I went from 4th in fleet arena to 30+ after these came out. Was a fun game going back and forth with close competition while it lasted..
It will take some time, but you’ll be able to compete with them if you build a smart account and go straight for fleets. If you want to compete now, the only way is to buy the hyperdrive bundle and then these bundles. You absolutely can play free to play and compete over time.

If your listed as ineligble but you should be My guild mate went to a different guild where he was eligible and he was able to be gifted.
That is tough, especially with time outs for raids. Hopefully it didn’t affect that.
Very insightful. Im sure your reasoning is sound here but what a cynical move from cg. I hope this isn't the model they adopt from here. I dont want to think about the pressure players will be put under to reciprocate gifting between guild mates.
Thanks Ewok! I can see this system being taken advantage of. I hope players act reasonably, but I can see many players getting scammed from these.
I create a second account and level up to liv22 to unlock guild..
after that a enter the guild of my main account and gift my first account with my second account. 1 day of work and you can bypass that shit but your guild need to had open enter and minimun level 22 and it work. 😂

@@CaptainAmazing_swgoh not really in 4 hours you are already lev 22 the whole process probably take me 12 hours to work. its better than gift someone else that you dont know if gonna return the favor to you. its not a guild of friend of mine i dont know they.
