Well done you for producing this episode. It was obvious in your voice and face that you were still suffering from the effects of the virus. Don't be too hard on yourself and give your body time to recover, unfortunately as you get older this takes longer. Your seed organisation is awesome and I think I might nick some of the ideas for my own. The sieve design looks really good and means you can achieve what you wanted. All in all good progress for a week you knew was going to be busy even before the setbacks
You’re right - and this is the advice I would always give anyone else but find hard to take myself! I did rest this weekend and feeling better for it. Thank you 😊
Sounds like a tough week all round. Hope you’re feeling a lot better now. I stepped on a rusty nail sticking out of a piece of wood once at the allotment, had to take two weeks off - so I feel for your stepdad. And I love that sieve - what a brilliant idea.
Gerald says you’ve been trying to push too much materials through so like I mentioned hopefully you can do a bit of dismantling and clear out the clogs 👍👍.
Thanks lovely - this works well for me because I don’t have to think too hard or hunt through boxes - I just grab the next lot of seed packets in the row each week and plant away - super helpful in the busy season and helps to remind me to succession sow which I always used to forget to do!
Thanks for sharing. I ordered some garlic today, hopefully not too late for a good result. What variety do you use? Do you have a favourite which grows well in your climate?
I have a garlic video which shows the varieties I’ve planted this year - we got a selection from The Garlic Farm Isle of Wight - but we’ve not yet picked a firm favourite. I’m sure it’s not too late to get yours in - do pop back and let me know how it goes!
I grown garlic quite well before but my wife said the ones were currently eating have a very weak flavour so I’ve just bought large giant Cristo. Hopefully they will be more pungent!
Congratulations on passing the first 100 subs it’s a great step in the right direction 🥳🥳. It is amazing and if one can make a small living out of their holding even better 👍👍. 5:14 what a gorgeous view ❤. I would think the chipper would clog too much sadly but the large stuff should make paths last longer. It you can also use it in the bottom of some beds and over time it will break down, just keep your eye on the ph of the beds. Oh I hope Wilkes is better soon ❤️🩹. Not too late lots of people are doing broad beans right now including me 👍. The only seed that never grows are the ones you don’t sow. I keep my seed in photo boxes I tried a monthly one but organization is not my forte 😂😂. Fab update take a deep breath your doing amazing, Ali 🌧️🥶🇨🇦
Thank Ali. The chipper definitely didn’t cope and I fear we may have broken it 🙈 another job on the list - find a way to fix the brand new chipper 🤦🏼♀️

Thanks for the pro-tip Gerald! Fingers crossed we can get it going again!
I love your seed organisation. I haven't found a method that works for me yet.
