Last year the Dolphins Offense went deep a lot when they had Tua, a lot of intermediate and deep throws, it was a lot of shallow throws the year before under a different coach.
That’s because Tyreek Hill draws all the attention and still gets wide open. Waddle is pretty elite too and should also consider extra attention. Next thing you know, everybody is open.

Waddle actually had a significantly higher EPA/play when Tyreek was out of games last year. Hill clearly makes that even harder but the playbook by McDaniel is very far from conservative, no matter who is actually in the game
I noticed Tua's deep ball is a little better. It's getting there faster than it used to. The receivers used to beat their guys, just to have to end up having to slow up for the ball. Now, not as much. Tua is improving, but the backs need to get involved. Tua doesn't need to throw the ball 50+ times per game; it'll just get him in a similar situation as last year. Protect the man.

Martin Emerson deserves a little shout out and national recognition for the Browns. Erased Tee Higgins completely yesterday, and Grant Delpit looked like the future star from LSU. They played really well and that was without Juan Thornhill in the back lurking. Also to add, they shut down Cinn and only had 2 sacks with no turnovers. All of that will come in time, but its something to build on.

Tua is like the Steph Curry of the NFL. A little smaller, injury concerns early, so much talent as a passer that you can't stop him when he is on. You can try. He threw what looked like a GO to Tyreek on the money and that was one hell of a throw while on the move. Then the touchdown pass?! The corner turned his back and Tua dropped it right over that corner’s shoulder on a perfect throw. The ball must’ve missed that DB by three inches and he never saw it coming. That’s where a quick release helps a QB since it was out immediately.
