To all of the commenters emphasizing that he is gay, that doesn't change the fact that he DOES look at Simone as if he is smitten. Also, sexuality is not rigid, it is rather fluid so someone who identifies as gay can still admire the beauty of a woman or even realize that he/she is attracted to women as well. Simone is washed out in cool tones like in the show she wores cold colors and her features are out. But in warm color she is flattering, lighting up so when she wored this orange dress in the last episode I was like wow.

Simone said they threw her and charitha together to play sisters and she said they did not have time to spend together outside of work they share a makeup truck together for me I was not invested in them I feel it was a token role with charitha and the mother being dragged out for storyline if Jonathan and Kate had no chemistry the show would have sunk they lucky Jonathan and Simone worked on their characters by spending time with each other building their chemistry. I’m inlove with both and watch for only them .
