📖 In this video Darby BTG reacts to Level UP: If fighting Bowser had an impossible mode! Super Mario and Luigi try to take on Bowser, but King Koopa gets some hilarious new moves. Theses Level UP animations are filled with funny and EPIC moments you won't want to miss.
BTG also reacts to Mario encountering NEW dangerous and hilarious note blocks. Some are safe, some are hilarious, others might defeat him. Waluigi tries everything and still loses. And finally, Koopa and Goomba team up to try to out smart Mario in an extremely funny Level UP animation.

btw, in that "Impossible Mode Bowser" video, Bowser doing a dash, as well as that red circle? That's Bowser using his Smash Bros moves that every character in Smash Bros can do. That red circle is a shield for Player 1, and in Smash Bros, if you move while you have your shield up, you do that short dash thing instead, that is a dodge mechanic. Hence while the shield appears shortly before he uses that dodge move. With a well-timed shield dodge, you can avoid getting hit by most attacks, in Smash Bros. That midair jump in the video after was also a Smash Bros move, where literally every playable character can do that. Some better than others, and super light characters like Kirby and Jigglypuff, for example, get multiple jumps in midair, not just a double jump. That midair dodge is a universal Smash Bros move as well. Come to think about it, allot of special actions in these videos are Smash Bros references

The reason why mario was able to jump in the air here 4:50 because it took inspiration from super smash bros. the third jump was his recovery move and then he used i think a neutral aerial attack to hit him into the lava. Another thing right here 5:43 is mario's air dodge in super smash bros allowing him to dodge attacks and move out of the way in the air. The entire section starting at 6:30 was completely based on super smash bros. Bowser wavedashed and then started dash-dancing (both of which are competitive play techniques in super smash bros) and then tried to shield but mario grabbed him (because grab is the only thing that ignores shield) and threw him offstage and hit him with a taunt. (Also goomba is shedding)

If it's not clear to you, things like the scooty moves (they're actually dodge moves), mid-air jumps, cape flip, red bubble shield, Mario 64 throw and even the falling down animation he does afterwards are borrowed from Super Smash Bros. So in the case of the second video, Mario can only beat Impossible Bowser by bringing his Smash Bros moves instead of his regular moveset! XD

Also, I have to say it, the origin of "Luigi wins by doing absolutely nothing" trend many years ago, all started with a video of Mario Party called, I think, "Luigi wins by doing absolutely nothing". If I recall correctly, it was a Mario Party DS video, so, it can't be SUPER old, like, not N64 Mario Party for example. Just like how the Internet trend of making fake anti-piracy measures, came from a single Mario Party DS video on TH-cam, that used editing to make a fake anti-piracy measure. That Internet trend in particular, was so popular, that in the modern day, it's hard to find recordings of actually real anti-piracy measures in games, as there's a massive "ocean" of fake anti-piracy measures online already
The "Luigi wins by doing absolutely nothing" thing I remember reading the description on one of them and it was basically seeing just how dumb the AI can be on "easy" difficulty. It'd be SO dumb that you could win a minigame without pressing ANYTHING, Luigi was just the character they used. This DID start with at least ONE OF the N64 Mario Party games.
The fake anti-piracy screen thing started with Mario Party DS iirc...

I case you don't know what happened when koopa threw the spring and it wasn't working it was channelling its energy that caused boom a to smash his head on the ceiling
When nurse goomba came she thought he killed him then used the anti-koopa spray thinking she saved the day

"Mario 64 Throw" Is Actually Back Throw from the smash bros series
I would try to help and try recommending something from Dorkly or Low Brow Studios, but trying to find Mario & Sonic or any other video game animations that are clean and not suggestive and is family friendly from those two channels is nearly impossible. Plus, those are the only video game animation channels I know. There is also SMG4 who makes Super Mario 64 style animations, but there not that family friendly either, but they’re all pretty funny. Let’s just say I hope you know how to blur out certain things and bleep out swearing. If this channel wasn’t family friendly, I would recommend Sonic for Hire because I think you would love it. Some people also make funny Mario and Sonic plushie videos, but they can be inappropriate at times too depending on the channel you watch.

The Jumping in the air was a reference to smash bros double jump and up recovery, hence why after mario jumping he had that little sprite.
