Regardless of how well/crappy he runs a company, one can't deny Bischoff's pretty good on the mic. ESPECIALLY when he's trying to make you hate him.

This was that weird time period when they were both TNA and Impact Wrestling at the same time.
The eras, in my opinion, are as follows.
1963-1984 doesn't really have a name, I guess you could call it the Classic Era...
WM1-8 - Golden Age.
WM8-13 - New Generation Era.
WM13-18 - Attitude Era.
WM18-22 - Ruthless Aggression Era.
WM22-28 - PG Era.

best time in wrestling, period, though. 97 was my favorite year, then 98 (then 02). WWF = excellent, WCW = sweet, ECW = insane. All at the same time. As of right now TNA may actually be starting to catch up but WWE is still THE wrestling promotion.
At one point I preferred TNA over WWE
Bringing the Hulk and bischoff to TNA killed it just like WCW I'm from Dublin Ireland and I never got to see any WCW over here in IRELAND we only got WWF as it was back then seen it all years later on TH-cam they don't know how to book good stories for others just in it for themselves and the money

They were in WWE BEFORE going to TNA, anyway. Same for Hogan & Bischoff (thank the WCW archives, which WWE owns & Hogan's 80s prime), Foley (as his three faces in Mankind, Dude Love, & Cactus Jack), & a slew of others. Now, even Samoa Joe is considering to go there!

In the realm of fantasy it would be great. But here is reality, you'd have Foley carrying the whole damn match, probably injuring himself in the process to have a good match just so Hulk can bury him. If Hulk couldn't agree to put stone cold over , he sure as hell ain't going to do it for Mick Foley.

I recognize The Young Bucks and Kendrick but who’s the other guy.
Like, you'd think with Hulk Hogan backstage, AJ Styles would ask "hey Hulkster, would you have done this angle?" or Samoa Joe would ask "Would you have let yourself get pushed so far into the mid-card?". Hulk would say "HELL NO, BROTHER!". Same with WWE...these guys just take whatever their given and that's it. Austin MADE Austin, he wasn't given it.

@musicismyfavorite777 i remember when wwe pushed him for a while, he had some of the most entertaining promos at the time, and a lot of people were comparing him to shawn michaels, specially since he had zeke as bodyguard and all. Having him as leader of the x division (specially since the x division always lacked a good talker) is genius imo.
Tommy dreamer tried to get tna back on track.. but the company was doomed from.the get go

For all the haters, I suggest you take a look at TNA's history and figure out what the X-Division is all about, they are clearly the most talented wresters on the roster. Hopefully Kendrick wins the belt at Slammi

TNA always starts off Impact with a match now and if you don't like a wrestling show with promos than that's stupid because promos in a wrestling company are essential because without them, rivalries will be meaningless and confusing.

@JMVEntertainment : Ahem, during Hogan's prime in the 80s, WWE was PG then too. Same went for the New Generation lead by HBK & Bret, via the Screwjob. In fact, the Attitude Era wouldn't BE if WWE did NOT use ECW concepts to create that era (ex: Stone Cold Steve Austin = WWE's version of The Sandman). However, TNA now isn't doing any better by being WCW 2.0 though, either.
I get what you mean...like when you see a Stone Cold promo now, and it's censored, it's not the same. But I'd be fine with less profanity if we had engaging wrestlers who were booked in engaging stories. The writing sucks and there's some good wrestlers, but no icons. And TNA is no better. They're allowed to be edgy and they have good talent but it just doesn't work.
Maybe we were just spoiled and now we're jaded. But I agree...I miss Razor Ramon, The REAL HBK, the REAL Rock, Cactus, Macho, etc

CM Punk, Mickie James, Lance Hoyt, Consequences Creed, Christian, Gail Kim, Booker T, Awesome Kong, R-Truth, and Evan Bourne were in TNA, but left and went to WWE. I'm not saying WWE is better than TNA(it's obvious that it isn't), all I'm saying is that both WWE and TNA both have their share of familiar faces.

Looking back at this now, this is shocking. Two guys who buried a billion dollar company and another who was far past his prime. H2 buried the x division because he didn't understand or cared. Look who came out of it... AJ, Joe, Christopher Daniels, Chris Sabin..the list goes on.

Destination X is going to be the One Night Stand of the X-Division and if booked right, can be as good as both One Night Stands.But look at the idiots in charge.This would be the perfect time to get rid of the double agents (Hogan and Bischoff among others) and bring in someone or people who can run this company to it's full potential 'cause quite frankly, it has the potential to be the best wrestling company on Earth.
Be real, TNA is no better. They do good stuff like put the belt on Aries, then do things like say AJ Styles is fucking a crackwhore. That's their posterboy...Think WWE would do that to Cena? lol.
I don't hate TNA, and I think they have a lot of potential, but they need a lot of work too. The problem with both companies is no one has that DRIVE that guys like HBK or Austin did, to be the absolute best.
And yeah, the wwe 13 roster is probably going to piss a lot of us off lol
