It's a great place to learn about snakes and how to deal with snake bites. They were very polite when I was there, and being the only foreigner, they spoke English just for me.
Many will be curious how the wild place such as a snake facility ended up in the busiest spot of the downtown. The fact is that it's there over 110 years already, long before any skyscraper in Bangkok was built.
Oh, I totally forgot all about this place. I heard about it when I was very young but never saw inside of it before in my entire life until now. Nice and beautifully organized and decorated but a little bit scary at the same time. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for a wonderful video today . I am happy to see every your videos show us. Very good and an excellent. Love this video as good information and recommended for travel and tourism if came to Thailand. Love that place all 👍♥️
This was the first of your vdo which I couldn't watch. When that giant จงอาง was let out from that plastic tub, that was it, goosebum was all over my skin. :)
I'm normally not a fan of the "animal shows" but given that they do work on antivenom research, I can get along with this. No other way to get the treatment without it.
I hate snakes!! I first went here back in the early 90's and like you found it so interesting and educational. I still go almost every time I'm in BKK if I have time. It keeps getting better also, always something new. I gotta say again the coolest thing in BKK I did this last trip was the klong taxi to the Golden Mount and being at the top just before sunset, so awesome experience. Thanks for the vids!
Yikes! I remember going there several times taking awesome pictures on an old school film camera and video footage on a JVC mini dv cassette camera. What’s just as scary as the snakes is the fact that the last time that I was there was 20 years ago! Yikes!! I’m getting older!
If you join in a tour to Bangkok from our country, they will bring you here to watching snakes show, shopping their products from the Snake skins …… my last visiting this place is 15 years ago
I went here probably 6 or 7 years ago. At that time, they let you actually hold the giant python. One of the handlers was bitten by a venomous snake during our show. I guess if you're going to get bitten, that's the best place for it. Though they never said how he made out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
Visit 1989 this place the first time, OMG me getting old, very nice to see again ✌🏼✌🏼😊

Thanks Jim. Yeah the khlong boat to the Golden mount is quite good. You must have caught one of the first boats.

They make serums there, schools used to take us there 😂

I did not see a shop with snakeskin. There is a snake hospital.
@@globaltravelmate maybe they are all closed.
At the King Cobra I did have a "Harry Potter" moment 😜😂
They made serums here .
Is it scary people touching them
