Hey, life can't be all bad when we can watch a superb performance of Roland Petit's Carmen Pas De Deux! As we say in Texas....DAYUM! LOL! Can't believe I had the great fortune to be invited to attend a summer of ballet with those professionals......Deny and Elisabetta and Deny Ganio and more. Wytek Lowski was my favorite. I carry the memories of that summer in 73' in my heart!

I think the last pas de deux had remained unbeaten since Alessandra Ferri's times. This performance topped that! BTW, thanks to Roland Petit for adding all those rélevés to the male dancer when he has the whole weight of the female dancer on a single shoulder! Poor guys!
Oh , my God!I have seen the opera Carmen.As a ballet , it is almost sweet (as much as you can say the word ''sweet ''for the fiery Carmen and her story as well).

Roberto è perfetto, meraviglioso, ogni suo minimo gesto è studiato al millesimo di secondo, ma questa coreografia è scadente, non lo valorizza. Peccato, da Carmen di Bizet si poteva tirare fuori un balletto molto ma molto più bello ed articolato

i think polina has to feel more the character but she was technically very good but i think that people in the theatre don t see her face and thats sad because she was technically very good

Maria, my apologies if it was interrupted by Adverts. I have not monetised the channel at all. I have no control over if, when, how often adverts appear. I gain absolutely nothing from the channel except the joy of knowing that so many are watching dearest Roberto dance. Unfortunately because these performances are often subject to copywrite, by orchestras, musicians, opera houses, ballet companies etc, they are perfectly within their rights to monetise them. That is not within my control. The other option is for them to slap a copywrite injunction on them, and have them blocked or removed, which means of course that we cannot watch them at all. Both Beautiful Dancers....but the music is too slow and flat, this kills the piece.

Like it or not, it was clearly rehearsed to go at this pace, otherwise, the dancers could not have remained in sync with the music, now could they?
