Russians provocated war in our land. it was brothers war :( Abkhazians are Georgians and Apsuas together... even today people who call themsevles Abkhazians in Abkhazia most of them are just Russified Georgians with pure Georgian names and surnames. more correctly it is historically land of Georgian(Megrelians) and Apshils(apsuas) since the ancient times from Colchis kingdom then to Lazica(which is Roman name for Megrelians, Lazs and megrels are one people) and Afkhazia kingdom which then became Kingdom of Egris-Abkhazia and ofc united Kingdom of Georgia itself. culturally their nobles were always of Georgian culture, Apshils lived in Abkhazia's upper mountain parts hsitorically while low land and cities were populated with Laz speaking population but both of them called themsevles Abkhazians, Afkhazs which is Georgian word. even thought in provinces casual peasants and people spoke their languages which was Apshil or Apsuan which is relatie of Adig languages and Lazmegrelian Kartvelian language their noblemen have spoken Georgian language it is like that since the time of King Pharnavaz of Kartli (Iberia old name for Georgia) he was first who united Georgian tribes together both Colchis(Lazica) west Georgia and east Georgia together and made Georgian language as state nominal language of kingdom which means after that the noblemen for Colchians spoke Georgian language it was throne language we can say, and every script on historical monuments of hsitorical Georgian territories including Abkhazia are all in Georgian language but there are no Apsuan scripts or Megrelian or Svan and So on... because these were all people of Georgia... Similar situation in Spain with Catalunia, they are of Spanish culture no matter what they say now, language of their noblemen was Spanish language just like in Basque country, even thought there was Basque Kingdom of Navarra, their kings in the last period their dynasty was same as in other Spanish Kingdoms of Castillia and Leon, that is why they united later.. while in Georgia not just that their noblemen were of Georgian culture but Kartvelians lived in Abkhazia which were Megrelians always, so we can say that Abkhazia is even more Georgia then Catalunia or basque country is Spain. and Apsuans are also part of Georgian nation. just look at their polyphonic singing it is exaclty like other Georgian polyphonic singings especially west Georgian ones like Svan, Rachan or Megrelian, their traditions are exactly like Megrelians of Abkhazia even today, absolutely one traditions they do it all in their own unique same way. historically they are Georgians no matter what they say today. it is sad what happenned between us and it is also sad that they are very pro-Russian today and Russians provocated this and occupied Abkhazia while genocided Georgians from there and ethnically cleansed most of us. a short history of Abkhazia I just told which is not over and we will unite again in future that time will come by the will of God!
