Just wanna say thank you for the videos really helped me with deciding what company to start my journey with and I officially put my app in for cypress waiting to hear back & I put you down on the app as a referral
Currently in cdl school and I’ve been really looking at flat bed cypress one of the companies i mainly wanna do flatbed just to keep active im 25 no kids and don’t wanna sit in truck all day and get big
We personally I didn’t go that route. But cypress is a good starter company to get experience and learn the road as a new trucker. I don’t know how much they deduct out your pay or anything like that. But doing the one year is worth it to me
@@Yoyoyoyoasshole lol she said she quit, they was cappin something with the trainer they put her with she responded on a different post saying she with Pepsi or Cola making more $ then she did with Cypress. But, it’s a lot of people who start Cypress and realize they just a “number” with real potential to make more $ and they go for it. Nothing bad on Cypress part because it’s a business but I learned I wasted my time going up there. You better off just going to school then going through any company your money is managed hard with companies when you deserve better. I had 3 guys including this girl leave within a year or less being with Cypress. The easy route is going through a company but in the long run you can’t get back time. Wishing you success my brother! ✊🏾 🇧🇸
So with the local/regional what is the most amount of days you would be out? I did swift OTR for 6 weeks but hated it. Would this be a good company if I need to be home every day or maybe 2 days out max?
@@Youngtruckerdee OK thanks for replying. I'm a flatbed driver, I live in FL, looking for something that can give me more hometime to be with my fam more often. Do you have a video about why you left though? Just curious. And don't want to make the wrong move. I'd love to stick with one company until retirement but their lies always drive us away. Let me know brother. Be blessed man!
Is that the cleardryve 220 headset? How you liking that. Looking between that and the blue parrot 550. Thanks for the positive video, starting with cypress Monday
@@Youngtruckerdee what's sup bro. Did you get your cdl through Cypress? Do you sign a contract with them? What area you run out of. I have a permit but looking to get trained by a decent company to work for. Thanks for the help keep safe out there💪💯
What’s up bro. I got my cdl though transtech and went through driver training with cypress. I didn’t go through there school but I know a few people who did & from what they say it’s pretty good. They have like 3 practice trucks & they put you in a hotel and everything. Cypress is definitely a good starter company

Do they have manual trucks? Thanks
How much tarping do you do 3rd load for the day? Is every load tarp?
Is a year contract doable with them? They pay for cdl but want you to work a year with them.

What’s good bro on average how many miles do you drive being regional? I’m looking to start soon
About 2000
The recruiter told me I’d be driving 2,500-3000 miles a week is that cap?
@@dangelorhodes2828 yeah that’s cap Man Unless y’all really busy. I never ran that many miles in a week
Bet I figured if I stayed out longer like OTR could I make more?

Most you’ll be out here is 5 days
It depends on how close you live to a plant as well

Do they bother you on the driver facing cameras.
Usually only if you hit a really hard bump or brake or get into a accident . Other than that you shouldn’t have no issues

Yeah at first I was iffy about it but you get used it
