When my coach taught me how to do this she literally grabbed my arms and moved them because I've never really known how to actually do a serve before and she didn't even tell me I did well when shooting. -.- can't believe I'm joining again. With her being the coach? Ugh..
This is a great video. i have a bad and inconsistent toss always throwing it back towards shoulder or towards the center making me use my arm more than following through with my body. This such a smart and simple way to check if my toss is right in front of my right shoulder! Thanks!

Just so you know if you throw it to high then you loose your momentum so if you need more power try making slightly lower throws
