This intro to this theme is honestly one of the best in the series cause for most of the drivers it's their first time being in a racing realm and it makes it seem so omnius and stressful
Yeah.
Three things related to this realm:
#1: What is at the BOTTOM of the Storm Realm?
#2: How exactly did Vert plan on rescuing Kadeem even after his grappling hook missed him?
#3: If the realms being open for 1 hour was so critically important, why would Dr. Tezla withhold that knowledge from the drivers if he was going to tell them anyway? Unless he changed his mind before he revealed himself...
1: I don't think anybody knows, but it seems to be some kind of a city?
2: I imagine that he wanted to at least FIND him before anything else. If his car managed to make it to the segment of the track we see in the last seconds of his camera, then that makes it easier. If he didn't and fell all the way down, that depends on how low the lowest segment of the track is. If close enough to the bottom, then he probably could have pulled it off with the grapple + jump jets. If not, he'd most likely fail to even find him, and would have to accept defeat eventually.
3: I think it was mentioned that Tezla didn't want them to feel unnecessarily pressured, which makes sense: after all, outside of special circumstances (Vert in Storm and Taro in Water as most notable examples), the drivers never really had to worry about the time limit.
@@creativename1673 Probably some weird technological architecture because the storm disappears when it's AcceleCharger is gone because it's clearly a power source just like how the WOP powers Hotwheels City.
It's not a city. Theoretically, it looks more like the planet core of a gas giant. Gas giants are planets made of clouds with endless storms and no surface at the bottom. Normally, a person would simply be crushed by the immense pressure of a gas giant if they move too deep below the clouds. Buuuut, since this is sci-fi, it's heavily implied that the Accelerons can alter their own surroundings to create race tracks that living creatures - not just humans - can breathe and drive on. Hell, they could even potentially alter the fabric of reality to some extent. That could explain how the Metro and Warped Realms were created since they're technically pocket dimensions instead of planets.
I will be really honest, I think the storm realm was a little unfair for the acceleracers. It's their first time going into a realm and they had the unfortunates to get a realm which the skill for it is to not get distracted and avoid freaking lightning bolts. How are they not going to get distracted it's their first time doing a realm of course they are going to get distracted.
Remember that the place its aleatory so Tesla cant decide what world can open and they just dont have time to wait for another portal.
And the fact that the racing drones were already there before the acceleracers
They had terrible realm luck in Ignition in general: Storm and Swamp both seem to be the worst movie realms to tackle first, with the possible exceptions of Lava and Cosmic. They'd probably have had a much better start if Pipeline, Cavern, Metro or even Junk realms opened up first.
Yeah I don't even know how they were supposed to avoid lightning bolts, there doesn't seem to be a trick like staying in the edge of a curve in the Junkyard Realm or not touch the moss in the Swamp Realm. The lightning bolts seem completely random.
Just imagine what would have happened if they got something like the Solar Realm or the Sound Realm as their first race, If they got the Cliffside or Metro Realms first, that could've been their best outcome.

Ugly Taro is actually a drone. The real Highway 35 Taro is captured.
Nah, it was because they don't kill the drone that was behind them, instead of kick him out of the road they just punch him a little.

I think he does, he was the one who brought Kadeem up in I wanna say Speed Of Silence, when he said "Remember Kadeem", implying that he does think about Kadeem and probably does feel some sort of responsibility for what happened to him
