When I watch these episodes. I can see Hope being the old Caroline and Steffy being the old Brooke. Brooke turns into Stephanie. Liam is the old Ridge. Thomas is the old Thorn.

Really silly they killed of Lyndsey Godfrey’s Caroline Spencer character. She started of so confident, funny, spicer but not bitchy. Then they changed her to be snobby and very insecure and all over the place. They needed more female characters not just focused on Liam and Steffy and Hope. Miss Dayzee, Marcus and even Amber she was funny comic relief. Hardly and dynamic stories and diversity.
The sad part is that Brook nor Taylor will ever measure up to Caroline. She was the love of Ridge's life. The other two were substitutes. It took two of them to replace her. And they still fall short.
Ridge had a hard time deciding between Caroline and Brooke, but he chose Caroline so clearly he loved her more. In the 90s he chose Taylor over Brooke, but ultimately we will never know if he loved Caroline or Taylor more. At this point, I'm sure he loves Brooke the most.
I forgot that Ridge cheated on Caroline with no problem when they were engaged so would that love had lasted long term? who knows. Ridge wasn't really grown up yet.
