Regarding the harvesting contracts, the better advice in my opinion is: "Do not ever deliver the crops in a harvesting contract before first fully harvesting the field."
Yep! Did a big carrot contract the other day (with a modded Amity kit, I'm not a lunatic...) so storage was an issue but dumping on one of my own fields and then loading back up turned the whole thing into a project I quite enjoyed. Sadly you can't dump Peas on the ground for some reason, haven't tried Spinach or Green Beans yet.
On the cotton bale delivery, I believe you want the Delivery setting instead of the GoTo setting. @30:20 Not sure how it is where you are, but over here, that sign means no trucks.
when using the helpers to drive to a location (like you attempted in the video), the easiest method I've found is to use the "Set Designation" feature rather than the "Create A Job" feature. Then all you have to do is click the desired destination and the orientation/direction. and it should set off automatically.
Just re-iterating other comments. Don't deliver anything until all similar contracts are harvested. For temporary storage, use the railroad silo, especially for peas and spinach.
I had the same problem when I took on two cotton contracts at once. The solution I think is to harvest them both completely and then drop the bales off.
The ai workers are great, can do whole contracts even 3 at the same time with minimal intervention. To deliver goods just select 'create job' then 'deliver', pick target and select looping. The driver will go deliver and come back to where it left from. Odd occasion they get stuck on a car or post but it works 70% of the time 😂
Got a mod called "Work Anywhere" which makes that contract behavior better. I. e. you can finish every field even if the contract is marked as finished.
I've made 10s of thousands be buying and selling everything I can get in the shop. The more expensive the vehicle is, the more you will get in return. Take a lone out to buy the expensive equipment and then pay it back within 2 minutes after you sell the stuff. It works brilliantly.
small bale count can be inscreased by using the correct bales loader ,every 14 bales turns into 1 big bales enabeling you to make more bales than 250 small bales so far im up to 500 small bales sat outside my barn
No doubt. How stupid is that. You rebuild the thing, collect all the missing stuff for it, and you can't even go in and check it out when it's done. I don't know what they were thinking when they made that decision. Maybe it was an oversight and they'll change it.
I normally don’t collect the collectables, but in order to help pay for the some of the material that I have to buy for the grain silo Museum it can help collecting some of the collectables to have a positive financial outcome. I am currently manufacturing all the wood that is needed. Everything else I’m buying.
For me, I love doing contracts, I usually do them all. Well, at least on FS22. I've noticed that the tools and vehicles seem to take on damage really fast in this game compared to the last one. I bought a brand new John Deere tractor and it only has around 30hrs on it and I've already had to repair it 3X and each time it's close to $32K. Because of that I don't use my own stuff anymore to do contracts. I'll use the farmers then just do the same contracts with the stuff I borrowed from the first farmer. So if I do a cultivating contract I'll use the farmers, then I just won't collect the $ and I'll wait for another cultivating contract to come up and I'll do it with the same tools and vehicles. Once I've done all the cultivating contracts I'll collect the $ from the original. Kind of s tupid you have to do it like that, but I guess it is what it is. Lol
I think the wear on equipment is horrible. As with fs22 I run a reduced wear mod. Else I'd had to run 3 repairs on harvesters on a single field on Hobo's Hollow 4x. I think the mod gives a 20% wear speed.
@@Adam-tp6ch dunno, I'm on riverbend, the starter equipment is old with a lot of hours on it already. Plowing even a medium field will wear the Yellow thing halfway down. I just got rid of my loan and bought a bigger used tractor. Haven't bought a new tractor yet. Maybe 5 years in already. Bought a used spinach harvester on sale with loan in the first year. Not the best idea afterwards. :)
I mean you to it to the sell point and get paid for it or save it, either way you’d still I’ll say it’s cheating/steeling.. I’d say holding on to it and using it for something else is perfectly acceptable to do and isn’t cheating/steeling..
In the video he mentions keeping bales from wrapping contracts and grass from mowing contracts. Anyone know how to do that on console? I am striking out.
Found out you can't complete a cotton contracts can't be finished with the john Deere harvester, can't empty the unfinished bale, cost me 27000+ for missing crops
Why is the repaint in the game 1 there are no scratches on my case 2 there asking for 206000 to respray it the only one I saw that had scratches was a Massey. Pointless
My game has become unplayable on console 1. Crashes as soon as I long in 2. Crashes when I clear pink square and the dots 3. Crashes as soon as I employee Ai 4. It cleared me of all stock . I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game 4 times and it still crashes and it also cleared all 25 collectables on panhti
@ianwalls4976 it seams to be a PS5 issue, I'm on Xbox series X, 2 different consoles, 2 different accounts, one on pantai, one on Riverbend, not had any game crashes at all, whereas, most people who are saying about game crashes are on PS5 Also not had the pink square or red dots either
Are you still having issues @ianwalls4976? I had to stop my series on HP due to the PS5 crashing issue. However, touch wood, I’ve had zero issues on any of my test maps or my new series on RBS. I’ve come to the conclusion it all releases to a save file created before any updates came out (my save game was from day after release basically)

Your story base is that you are investigating contracts, but the only dodgy farmer fiddling contracts is you 😂😂😂
Sure you knew it would end up that way lol.

In my opinion, RiverBend Springs is the best Base game map I’ve seen for Farming Simulator… I’ve been playing since FS15…
I prefer gold crest valley from fs17

Orbs are the Asian map collectibles
Exactly. Was confused by Mr SealyP saying "They only come out at night"

Good video my friend keep it up
You can deliver multiple contracts to the same place you just need to harvest all the fields first before delivering any crop for maximum profit
Finish harvesting before delivering and will finish field
I had just discovered the Duetz-Fahr yesterday myself. It is possibly one of the best deals in the game.
As long as you don't collect the money for the contract, you still have access to the field

I think you will find that the Orbs are on the Asian map only Mr Sealyp
MSP I love that you are there investigating local farmers and are now illegally flipping equipment for profit 😂
P has been corrupted by the dark side! 🤣
Nothing illegal about it, it's just the same as a car dealer buying a car at auction, fixing it, cleaning it, then selling it for profit
@@robcolliver8454that sounds too much like work 😂

You will only make small profits unless you can buy with at least 60% off. You told us this in your video about doing this.
The orbs is on the Asian map

Change it to deliver not go to the sales point and set it on looping
