I think its because Everyone and their neighbor knows Envy is gonna win and they are trying so hard not to make it a completely lopsided competition with no flare.

It wasnt good enough for a double shantay ,it was so bad they couldnt pick for real and it also added a bit more drama so they Love that.

I was a Cheerleader for 6 years and it wasnt that She couldnt do the splits it was something to do with the floor skidding with the wrong kind of shoes and she shouldve had some powder or lubricant or lotion on her legs and shoes so when She goes down,It will be smooth and not skid.lol
