Trading Bull trap in Options using the inherent theta decay concept is something i should have noticed by self, but failed to all these months. It is an exceptional concept. Thank you very much
Nice place of defining the Box size, telling to see the trend in Day chart with higher frame box size and trade in lower time frame and lower box size . It was fantastic. Clearly understood with several chart examples. Thank you
No doubt it's a very simple way to understand trapping and stay in market with full confidence. One can analyse his portfolio by using this method. It's very beneficial.
Kaushik bhai Amazing, most of the retail traders get trapped in these patterns and align their heart beat with the candle stick ..in short means high on emotions leading to incorrect decision. this is the most beautiful and sensible video I have ever watched which takes out your emotions and helps you to take positional long/short trades. MPTY.
Thank you sir 🙏 Importance of 20SMA Rule to identify and stay with trend is unique learning. And absolute % value for index 0.5 and 0.05 is also new learning. 🙏
Dear Kaushik Bhai, thank you very much for this awesome video. I strongly believe that learning and understanding anything by any individual is a blessing indeed, but the ability to impart that learning that too in most simpllistic way to others is a God's gift to select few. Unlike other professions, Teaching is one of the professions which fails and loses its credibility without passion. 🙏
Nice Video very interesting. Have small doubts though. 1) you are using box size as 1% for the Nifty Strike price example. Shouldnt that be 0.05%? 2) If index is avove 20 sma ,we move to a call strike price and if that starike price is below sma what should we do? 3) Since we are looking at SMA in strike price and taking decison whether to Buy or Short. Whats the use of looking at the SMA on Index? 4. Which indicator should we use Bull /Bear trap or Bull/Bear trap variation? Thanks you in advance . Please clarify
Nicely explained . Only doubt is P&F charts are not showing real time prices. In that case how to trade. I am not yet opened account with Definedge. May be after that it may become clear.
Excellent explanation....in a most simplified manner....little bit more on option buying or selling in index would have been absolutely marvelous....need more such on p&f patterns.....thank you for being so succinct....
Sir , very good video , you have explained the full pattern in detail and easy to understand way with many examples on cah and derivative sections. It is very easy to use and implement specially on cash stocks on 1 % P&F charts , also i saw scanners are also available . i loved the explanation regarding the formation of the pattern for me that is very crucial if we want to use it effectively. Sir you are a very good and experienced teacher with very good communication skills.
Thank you so much Deepak ji for the kind words. If the logic behind the pattern is clear, creating scanner on TradePoint is very easy. Difficult part is to get the concept clarity.
dear kaushik , very good anaylsysis... but good for past anaylysis ... but please give one of your live trade in bank nifty recorded .. also ok ... i like it ... i learnt lot ... from your anylysis ... ravindra
🎉For call option charts bear traps are used for buy call options and bill traps are used for sell call options, same for pe charts also. I’m I correctly understood?
Excellent explanation..thank you for bringing this.I want to know what's Box size we will be using while trading options intra day or positional in Index and Stocks..thanks
I prefer using 1% on 1-min TF for Options Intraday and 3% on 1-min TF for positional options trade. You can explore what box size works well for your trading system. I have also seen a few traders using 2% box size.
@@TheNoiselessTrader But in video you referred using .05% in 1 min time frame for intraday option buying and for seeing trend 0.5% in daily But this message confused me sir
Very informative and nicely explained concept. Sir seeking few basic clarifications 1) 20 SMA is based on close or average 2) For F&O trades 0.25% box size on daily time frame can be used to filter the bullish and bearish stocks and then find traps on one min time-frame using 0.15%box size? your reply is highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Thank you Hitendra ji. Please find the answer following: 1. 20 EMA on closing basis 2. 0.25% Daily for stocks will be a small TF. You may get more patterns on the charts. I will prefer using higher box size on daily TF. From my experience, I have observed 0.5% daily and 0.25% (1-min) charts to go well together.
Sir , If I am not wrong, we have to take 20 Single moving average on all instruments & time frames for trend filtration & not consider default 10 SMA. right?

You can use the default 10 SMA as well. I prefer to use 20 SMA. You can use what works for you. No strict rule as such.
If price is sideways and not trending then pls show how will this work.
PnF will not plot anything.
Watch the first video on Pnf Chart construction. That will clarify your doubt.

Traps are usually formed in trending and should always be traded in the direction of trend.
@@TheNoiselessTrader thanks, but before the chart forms, nobody can say in advance if it is a trend or a sideways market.
