Since it is a full header back exhaust i can see that being possible, but and exhaust causing damage is highly unlikely especially with these newer fuel injected engines. Since you do have a brand new moto id probably wait a couple oil changes and dealer services before doing any modifications to the engine, and its always wise to keep your stock exhaust system just in case you run into engine issues you can swap it back to stock and have the bike diagnosed, 9 times out of 10 itll be unrelated to the exhaust.

if youre looking to squeeze that extra couple HP than a Tune is for sure a good idea, but new ECUs have fuel trim learning capabilities so its not necessary, your bike will auto adjust to the changes . just make sure not to delete any sensors like the o2 .

i haven't been able to capture the sound yet but i wasn't going for the loudest exhaust note possible , i just wanted a subtle increase in the exhaust which it did perfectly and it brought out the trident 3 cylinder note. i also prefer this style exhaust with the muffler off to the side. the TECFANG is a great system and inexpensive but way too loud for me.
@@averageasianalchemist69 I watched that vid testing like 8 different brands and personally I think they all sound terrible. The Arrow I guess is appropo for this bike, but I liked the extra kick the British TED gave the triple. I did not find it "loud" per se just more of a tone that was crisp and gave that tiger grrrrrrrrr more definition. Im sure a baffle can be added to TEC. But I dont see putting a japanese pipe on a british pipe or an Italian pipe on the tiger. Thats just me. have fun...

@@ivanjanci2688 Im not sure the exact weight but it is significantly lighter , and I can't tell if it's faster or not until I get it tuned . Honestly tho I just love the way it sounds and looks
if you look close to the tip you can see where its been spot welded usually in 2 spots, its as simple as filing down the welds a little bit and wiggling it out . i did use a stick to tap the Db killer from the backside its a reach but if youre carful you can knock it out without any damage.
@@agooddadandadirtbike7149 I would say about 2 or 3 times louder than stock and deeper as well, doesnt have the rasp like the SC exhaust. its really noticeable under load , the way it sounds under load is honestly such a beautiful sound its sounds like a Porsche racing car. ill try and record another video and capture the sound more.
a tune would definitely improve some areas but its not necessary , im not looking to race the bike all the time its more of a daily commuter with a nice sounding exhaust to me .

Tec fang exhaust are very popular with the trident community, they all pretty much sound alike so you just gotta find one that looks good to you

It's hard to tell on video but it's quite a bit louder , and under load it sounds soooo good ! I'll try and capture the true audio of it !
