Go is one of the most respected custom motorcycle builders in the world. He is a fearsome racer on the vintage flat-track circuit, and the shop he opened when he was 23 years old, BratStyle, become so popular that the term ‘brat’ now describes an entire genre of bikes. His talents are diverse and remarkable, his creativity is unbound, and his soft-spoken charm is as infectious as his cool is undeniable. Six years ago Go and his wife, Masumi, moved from Tokyo Jaan to Long Beach California, to open the second location of Brat Style, and now Go is living out the dreams of his youth.

Cool drone shots. Did this guy invent the Brat Style bikes that are so popular right now? I never knew where that term came from. I like a lot of the brat style bikes I've seen, but sometimes they make the seat too short, which screws up the lines of the motorcycle with no rear fender. A lot of them are done right and look awesome.
Makes me want to strip my 03’ Speedmaster down to bare essentials. The sound of a Bonneville with Epco pipes we’ll be sweeter by then.
I get the feeling that ever since the announcement of the FTR1200, Indian is becoming more of an authentic American heritage brand, similar to what Triumph has become to the British motorcycling world. Especially with Harley still scrambling to sell a couple of rebell fantasies to a quite literally dying crowd, I can see how this appeals to a much younger audience. The recent change in HD leadership and the announcements that followed suit aren't exactly inspiring hope, and neither is a low range electric motorcycle that is the price of a family car. Take note Harley, how about instead of releasing yet another cruiser you start to think about reviving something that is a little more dynamic, like the XR Lineup. And for the love of god, don't cancel the Bronx or let it be a one-off.
