Thanks for this recording. I will be coming here whenever I need motivation to focus and actually get some writings done.

Lol. Finding that focused time to write (with others) can be quite useful.

We do this but set smart goals, for example to write 500 words or to edit 5 pages.

Yes, this is a great approach!
Setting SMART goals really helps. Sometimes I set a goal for each ~50-minute session- e.g. to complete one/two subheadings per session or some other times it is a goal to achieve a certain (realistic) word count at the end of the writing retreat.
This increases the likelihood of actually getting some writing done during the focused period.
      Thanks for your comment!

      Thank you.
Yes, it requires a lot of concentration. The 10-minute breaks in between help to maintain momentum.
You can create focused time to write or study at any stage; it doesn’t have to be only when doing a PhD😊

Hi. Thank you for stopping by.
Great to know that you would like to get a PhD :).
Thanks for your feedback. I hope you found my video(s) helpful. Broadly, my PhD is in the field of public health and applied health research; studying how to ensure the rational use of antibiotics in hospital settings.
