Preserved: Alder Valley: 218 (KPA369P) Leyland National integral

The Leyland National was built to a be a bus built for the whole of the UK, designed as an integral product with a chassis, running unit and bodywork all by Leyland. It was arguably one of the most successful single-deck bus types in the mid 1970's
This particular example with a loud, rasping Leyland O.510 engine sees the vehicle getting completely thrashed at the Reading running day on a recreation of route 1 between Reading, Theale and Thatcham.
