This was made in my studio and i'm very proud of it! If there's some sort video cutting mistake that can be possible. Audio is just one take but with quite many different lines. Petteri has been doing this for years and made three albums. We have been thinking a lot how to make this sound from the very beginning.
People who thinks that there's looping in this track, clearly doesn't have any sense of technique. You can CLEARLY see, that he's doing everything LIVE by looking at his hands. I've seen this dude doing this UNPLUGGED at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt! Take a look at Petteri's other videos on TH-cam, and you'll find out that he's an absolute BEAST! I can't wait to get him to Scandinavia!

Since I was awestruck by his talent & the extreme stripping & rebuilding of the song into his own, I had to listen to it again. This song has always meant so much to me, in many personal ways, so I was at first taken back by his creating the song into something nothing like U2's. However, after the 3rd time listening to it, it became obvious: He was singing it from his heart & soul. Therefore, that must be where the creation of his rendition came from. Absolutely beautiful young man! Well done Sir!!

Finally Petteri gets some proper recognition! For those unsure about what's going on here, just look up some other videos with him. It's just one guitar and a bunch of effects, no loops or prerecorded tracks.
In my very personal opinion (not to generalize), THE most awesome performance ever since I have kept up with acoustic guitar performances (mostly finger style guitarists, due to my personal taste in music). That being said, this is certainly one of the best hybrid performance, combining fine techniques from finger style to one man band. Honestly, you see many finger style artists (I mean awesome artists, and all of them deserve my sincere respects, hat off*), but it is hard to find as well-balanced performance between techniques and composition as this song. Note: This is my SECOND complementary comment on youtube performance since tommy emmanuel (my guitar hero) during past 10 years. You deserve it mate.
