Canning corn on the cob!

The Rod Ridge Farm canning season has begun. In this video, I am doing corn. I have done corn several times in the past and never had an issue. In this video, the corn is SUPER sweet, and it turned some of the kernels brown. I hope it still tastes ok. My suggestion when canning corn is to do it the same but maybe not use as sweet of corn. #homesteading #selfsufficient #canningandpreserving #corn #foodpreservation

That is a very weird color. I agree, I don’t know if I could bring myself to try it. It may taste amazing but we eat with our eyes first. Definitely let us know if you try it.

I have a tip for all the corn lovers. Cut off the stalk near the bottom and it peels a whole lot easier.

We tried canning corn the problem was it tasted like store bought. I like the taste frozen its like off the cob
