My favourite character is Jane because even though she felt insecure about herself and she thought wasn’t pretty , mal told her she was beautiful inside and out, Jane also pulled through and became more confident at school.
I can't choose a favorite. I like each of them for a reason. But, I will admit that I have a tiny crush on BooBoo Stewart who's Jay in the movies.

I like Evie because she's shy, smart & very brave. She & Doug are my fave Descendants couple. It's too bad they never revealed Evie's father's identity because there was an easy possibility there. Her mom was married to the good King, Snow White's dad, for some time so IMHO it would've been a lot of fun if it was revealed that the good King was also Evie's dad, making her the daughter of a good King & evil Queen & the younger half sis of Snow White but I don't think the movies' creators wanted to go there.
Actually I don't know if it's been proven or not but I did research on who evie dad might be and it says Gaston is her father

I really like that idea! It reminds me so much of the Tangled franchise with Mother Gothel kidnapping baby Rapunzel. Hopefully in a case like that Jay would be reunited with his birth parents much like Raps was with hers & he'd get to meet/be reunited with his bro Aziz. It would also explain why Jay is so heroic. Even with a harsh upbringing by a kidnapper Jay's heroic nature inherited from his birth parents didn't completely disappear. It makes him a diamond in the rough just like his birth dad Aladdin💖

I like how the children of the Villains' and Heroes' are the complete opposite of them.
You missed Harriet Hook (the sister of Harry), Hadie (Mal's little brother), Gaston Jr. (Gil's brother) Gaston the third (Gil's other brother), they are in the novels
This is just based on the film Descendants, it is not based on both film and novels.

@@sarahreda4362 Well that makes a fun family tree because Poseidon is also the paternal grandpa of Ariel (her dad King Triton is his son) & if anyone does crossover fanfics between Descendants & the Percy Jackson franchise Percy would also be Mal & Herc's cousin due to being Poseidon's son, King Triton would be Percy's half bro & Ariel would be his niece. Plus on the Disney-only side King Triton is Mal & Herc's cousin & Ariel is their 1st cousin once removed/2nd cousin. Love all these fun tangled relationships. Disney IMHO has some of the greatest known/potential family trees & I'd love to see the Descendants franchise diving more into that vast storyline potential 😊

You have the wrong Prince Charming for Chad, that's Snow White's husband's picture, the one from Cinderella had black hair. You also pronounced Jafar wrong, it's Juh-Far, Carlos was bullied by Jay and Mal at Dragon Hall on the Isle of the Lost and Evie came in as the new student not Carlos. Again you pronounced Gaston's name wrong, it's Gas-TAWN, it's Fa-ci-li-ey, Lee-Shang you say the G. Actually Mal's father in the books is unknown, the only thing we get from the books is that Maleficent says he was a silly human. Hades being a god is not human so they made it up that Hades was her father or Maleficent was lying about who Mal's father was.
Check the 3rd movie, Hades is her father also he explained in a comment at the top that he put the wrong person as Prince Charming and he said that Carlos was bullied by Jay and Mal and finally he never said Carlos came in as the the new student all he said was that Carlos was bullied by Jay and Mal when he first came to Dragon Hall, Look over the video before u type something

It's just that people usually criticize guys for dressing up like she/her in pop culture, I know females have dressed up as guys a lot of the time and they didn't get criticized any badly. I just really like Mal, for her purple color, her character development through the series, her power to turn into a dragon. I'm not into gender stereotypes, but from my POV her personality is more manly, for being so tough, with courage and badass against her challenges, not many Disney characters have her profile.

Evie is destined to ask her magical talking mirror her favorite question day and night when she finds out the magic mirror tells her that Snow White is the fairest in the land she is supposed to stir up evil potions use her dark powers to cast spells on hair combs silk ribbons and apples and travel to the seven dwarfs cottage to poison the princess jay is supposed to ask directions to a lonely and worthless boy named Aladdin to help him search for a magic lamp and wait to attack
