- Gawain gets a strong defense buff that reduces all damage done to him. He can also fill his guage up every two turns, and he hits like a truck with his attack buffs.
Luckily I managed to find a support Georgios who had a Divine Princess of the Storm CE for that early defense buff. As for why Emiya wasn't taking that much damage, I put MLB Holy Shroud of Magdalene on, for an extra 30% damage reduction.
Emiya's NP gives attack down on enemies for 3 turns, and his evade skill also provides defense up for 3 turns. His class advantage already reduces damage from sabers by half, and Gawain still deals a lot of damage.

Nice, but why were you using the NP as the 2nd card?
To make up for NP5 (slightly). Since NPs dont get any damage bonus for being in the 2nd card (or 3rd card)
Edit:
20% extra damage if the buster was on the 2nd and NP on 1st
50% extra damage if the buster was on the 3rd and NP on 1st
NP1: 300% damage
NP5: 500% damage
Lets say on average Emiya used his NP every 4 turns within 12 turns.
200%/4 = 50%
On a side note: the 8000 NP damage would have hit for 5400 instead if he were NP1

Nice...Even though the Go West event wasn't great, the CEs from it were good parting gifts. Honestly, I'm impressed at people who make it through Gawain's fight without using Euryale or Orion. Emiya's pretty good, I wish I had him...

Can anyone explain to me at 2:09, why would they do a B-N-Q? Wouldn’t N-B-Q deal more damage while also generating the same amount of star?
yes, N-B-Q does more. I did it in that order because my Emiya was at NP5

He's not a crit god, Billy the kid can hit harder than EMIYA if it's crit damage.
Try buffing billy's skills like
Make his Marksmanship A++ last for 3 turns and you can see him deal monster level of crit damage. If you use his third skill then his total crit buff would be 10% from independent action A, 120% from Marksmanship and 32% from Eye of the mind(False) then you'll have a servant that can hit for 152% crit damage for 1 turn and Imagine his 1 turn burst with 2 skadi and 1 waver. It's actually too big.

The reason EMIYA is viewed as a crit god is because he can not only increase his crit damage by 100% , but for the fact he can keep up for 3 turns. Otherwise he would be fighting for the spot with Anne and Bonne and Rama and pretty much everyone with a 100% damage up.
While Billy the kid can have higher specific crit modifiers for one turn, even on that turn thanks to the fact even when he's grailed the raw damage is going to be much lower than when compared to EMIYA thanks to multipliers, but he's also only stacking the buffs. For that burst turn EMIYA also is using Projectile Projection to boost his cards damage which multiplies with the crit damage rather than stacks. Between those two values along with the fact Billy is more of a quick critter than anything, Billy loses out on one time damage. In the case of using the one turn burst method for both, how would Billy's NP Q Q burst damage fair in comparison to EMIYA's NPAB burst damage when its the comp of skadi skadi waver vs MErlin Merlin waver keeping in mind the card multipliers?
However, thanks to the current meta of the game its highly unlikely you'll be seeing three supports from either side. Now its all about burst turns thanks to way skadi works and the introduction of Summer BB versus break bars, so while Billy's crit damage is nice for that turn, its much preferable to have stable crit damage for three turns to deal with break bar damage instead with a team like EMIYA | Merlin/Cas Gil | Waver/Hans and summer bb in the back or Saber Diarmuid | Skadi | Skadi with summer BB in the back for crit np spamming.
I know EMIYA hits harder in the long run it's I just said that billy hits harder on a one turn burst due to the crit mods and the fact that my billy is grailed to 100 with max foes on attack and hp. and my EMIYA is only at 5/8/9 since I don't have enough mats compared to my billy and cu who are both 100.(Cu is on my other acc.)
I'm not saying EMIYA is weak or anything. The reason why he's currently better than billy in the long run is due to his 3 strengthen quest. I think it's kinda unfair that he has all these buffs to improve his skill set. But still liked the FSN servants more so they should strengthen all of cu's skills. Give him BC EX as first PFA A for more def and a disengage rank up.
In the long run I agree with EMIYA being better than billy but if we compared them with a one turn crit damage burst with support then I guess billy wins. Just my opinion though.
