Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 and I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your clutch! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I don’t want to spend so much money on it now, I have been *yutulu* buying the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability
Lovely results, I am about ready to throw a bag that smells like chain smoker in the washing machine. it’s vintage so the canvas may be too brittle. But I have nothing to lose, the bag isn’t useful to me if it smells too bad to use and the other methods I’ve tried aren’t helping. Methods I’ve used included: airing out outdoors for several days, putting in freezer overnight, baby wipes, alcohol wipes, Lysol, deodorizers for the car, cup of cat litter, baking soda, white vinegar, hand washing carefully. I mean maybe it won’t ever get out if it’s not by now but I won’t know unless I try. 🤷🏻♀️
@@BagsChase I ended up hand washing it 3 times. the final one it was soaking for an couple hours in my sink instead if wiping it all over gently. I rinsed until the water no longer looked yellow like tobacco stain. I put an arm and hammer deodorizer disk in the bag once it dried, then zipped it up, and left it for a while. it hasn't smelled of smoke since. also I got some leather conditioner to smooth over the canvas, which make it smell and feel extra new.
This might sound weird but I had a smelly vintage speedy 30 and I put it inside my freezer for two days. It killed the smell and didn’t damage the bag at all
Amazing but we dont know what will happen in the future wiith chemicals of the laundry soaps which arent leather friendly i guess....but if you are selling them out just let the buyers worry about them..😊

@@luxsational honestly if you have tried literally everything and you’re at the end of your rope with this smelly bag than it is a drastic only option. It sounds nuts but it’s trying this or forfeiting the bag because it’s can’t be carried smelling that bad

If anything happens to it or needs repair in the future they can and most likely will turn it down and in general it’s just not good for the bag. For any one trying to remove the horrible old crayon plastic odor from a vintage Trouville- i literally tried everything which brought me to this video- i decided i have nothing to lose because im not using it smelling like that! I turned it inside out, in pillow case, put in warm wash 3 times in a row- using 1/2 cup baking soda, arm&hammer oxyclean detergent, Downey odor neutrializing beads, "totally awesome" yellow spray...i sprayed the bag down before puting it in before each wash- i put the detergent and beads in every pocket of the bag and then i ran it in the washer 3 times back to back warm water regular cycle. It got rid of 98% of the smell... Make sure to reshape after wash and condition leather well after it dries. Just a suggestion- do at your own risk. I thought i would share my tip!
Love*yutulu* the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other TH-camr can show off bags in as much detail as you.
