When I saw my main man Golbez I fucking screamed!!! I've been waiting for his appearance ever since I started playing! Can't wait to fight him and the four archfiends.
At the end when we saw Zeno's avatar voidsent thing I was thinking maybe it could take the form of Golbez's shadow dragon
The moment that Golbez theme came I say there is no way is Golbez. Them after the end of the cutscene it was him. That means if that we are going to see Zeromus too!!!
That... Or Vitra's sister is the shadow dragon... Its very possible she was corrupted or somewhat corrupted
I saw a theory that Zenos voidsent is Zeromus.
@@boobalooba5786 yeah I saw that too and it's way more likely lol. I made this comment before I came to the OBVIOUS realization about Azdaja probably being consumed and turning into the shadow dragon lol
I'm kinda hoping that it was _lamenting_ the fact that the 13th is, quote, "Bereft of saviors," and was so fucking impressed by how much ass we kicked, that it's basically either gonna reach out to us, or try to copy our deeds in the 13th to oppose Golbez and his crew of jerks.
Asdaja being in the void actually explains a question I've been thinking about recently. Why are there dragons in the world of darkness?
Hehe seeing new lore and going Meracydia 4th Calamity can't wait and 13th shard while Norvandinth being first shard. Dragon Villian next?
Golbez is the Azem shard from the 13th. And Zenos' voidsent is Zemus/Zeromus. That's my guess anyway.
So due to the link of a common soul, we're basically Cecil. Also, his pet shadow dragon is probably Vrtra's sister.
A thought had going over everything, there has been a lot of emphasis put on the war with the Alagans and The Dragons this patch.
When we parted ways with Emet he said, "What of the present state of affairs in Mericidia?" Which makes me wonder if there are more void gates open in Mericidia, and potentially either a continued off and on war, or the void are planning a mass invasion of the continent; as a way to save the 13th.
Pure speculation, just throwing out my two cents.
Basically we are going to explore seven heavens and seven hells :)
Me going in: "Finally we're getting some answers."
Me going out: "Well, hell, no answers were to be found."
It was 4 full expansions to finalise the first arc so my take is that the 6.X series will be an appetiser/setup for the void arc that will play out across multiple expansions. Just as Garlemald and the Ascians and the Dragon stories resided alongside each other for years. So 7.X might be more terrestrial (Meracydia for example) but with the void arc playing out alongside those other threads. It doesn't even have to be the "main villain" arc, just a large co-arc with others.
I just feel resolving the entire story of the 13th in the limited scope of 6.1-5 would be extremely rushed and CBU3 are known for marinating their storylines for a LONNNNNNG time. I think they will just deal with the Vtra/Azdaja story and maybe an initial setup confrontation with the void armies in the 6.X series.
I think you're thinking too great of a scope for the 13th though, I think 7.0 will be the 13th and then the rest of them until 12.0 will be the other reflections, its pretty clear Y'shtola and the others are still looking for a way to travel to other reflections.
Sooo upon seeing a cape and armor along with four elemental crystals my first thought was the person sitting on that throne was going to be listening to limp bizket but no I remembered our boy Golbez which says multiple things to me lorewise along with a few predictions. So in order
1. We are searching a void for a Dragon and I think we are going to find it. As Golbez’s weapon ofcourse. (Potential new class in the future)
2. Estinien being heavily featured might poke towards a few Kain Highwind moments (here’s hoping not a certain moment for Kain)
3. Cecil’s dark knight helm is already ingame so we might be seeing things about Cecil as either a dark knight or a paladin
4. If Golbez is the big bad of the 13th we might see other FF big bosses in other reflections (Garland, Ultimecia, Sephiroth and the Emperor come to mind as they wasn’t featured in the alphascape not to mention Ultimecia might be a definite if each of the scions have their own themed adventure hint hint Thancred)
4.5. We might have already had a taste of the emperor reborn as Zenos
5. Merecidia is on our list of places to visit in our little retirement adventure set by Emet Selch homeland of war featuring man and dragon including the biggest baddest of them all Bahamut will we see a Second coming of Bahamut or perhaps some other forms of Bahamut (Neo, Sin, etc)
Zenos' Voidsent being a reflection of the WoL is not impossible but not very likely, because some dialogue in the Reaper questline seems to imply that every Reaper has their own reflection as their voidsent and for the people who cannot summon a Voidsent it would mean that their reflection on the 13th was vanquished
That Zenos called upon his Avatar while inhabiting the WoL’s body would be sufficient to explain its connection to the WoL, though there’s a fair chance it goes deeper than that.
There was a particular dialogue that made me "Hmmm?" after the talk with Varshahn from Nidhana. She says that Varshahn/Vrtra requested something from the Great Work.
i took the lolpurits interest in dungeons as simply a lore reason why the exitron exists
I think they're setting up the loporit's treasure vault to be the new deep dungeon.
I kid you not I was speculating with a friend after watching the 6.1 trailer that the shadowy figure clenching a fist could be a tie-in to a trial series of the four fiends as high-ranking voidsent
I was not expecting to be so on the money!
just think if they added midgar AND Spira to the lore. I'd love to see cloud in game.
What g shade preset are you using in the beginning? And can you use it with gameplay?

This Zenos’s voidsent literally knows how his world got this fucked watching Fandaniel from the end of Shadowbringer to end of 6.0.
i am pretty sure most of the voisent know what happened to their world since they became powerful and able to travel between worlds
It looks like the symbol for Golbez and the 4 fiends is a dragon, it's got the head, the wings, and the tail.

I think the trial series is gonna be Golbez and the 4 elemental fiends.
5,000 Source years doesn't mean 5,000 13th years. This was hammered home pretty hard on the casting job quest (SB). Taynor was there for over 100 years of the First, and yet it was so short a time on the 13th that he wasn't even corrupted. Which brings me to something rather annoying about patch 6.1. No one mentions the time discrepancy between shards to Vtraa. And, the WOL not mentioning Taynor's ability to create gates to the 13th at will is annoying as well....(and I understand that not everyone has done that job quest...but I think they erred by not introducing it into the MSQ in 6.1). It's a huge plot hole. It's similar to the WOL never mentioning to anyone that the Sultana planned to abdicate the throne in ARR.
We only know shards and the source go in and out of sync and one might be slower or faster and any given point so speculating about how far they may have strayed from each other wouldn't be hugely helpful. bee it 5000 or only 500 years though a prolonged existence in the void would still likely affect a member of the first brood. On the Nanamo point, we are immediately arrested and contending with being on the run and Ishgard so I'm not sure who we were supposed to tell that it would have made a difference or changed anything.
The real question is since time, between the planets, differ faster to slower from time to time is there any point per say every thousand years that time is equalized meaning even thought 12000 years has passed for the source since the split do this 12000 years also pass for the other planets but time speed differences between the centuries and either the source or the reflections catch up at some point on the time line
The 13th shard kinda reminds me of the Grixis shard in Magic the Gathering.
My theory now that 6.2 is out is this: we deal with the immediate crisis to do with the void by patch series end, but... as the void is a vast nothingness, it won't deal with the over-all void storyline, bust like how beating Gaius in Castrum did not deal with the garleans.
Do you guys remember what Amon said to us when he kidnapped the elephant alchemists? He held up thr charm and comment that it looks "similar". So was Amon know something about vtra sister?
He was referring to Owen who was an Allagan researcher who was attempting to ward the effects of primals tempering. I imagine Owen had made similar strides in creating a talisman before his research project was canceled by Amon.
I think it has to be the void because they mention a small incursion

No he was just a WoL from the 13th that was to young to grow into his power to help save the 13th that was saved by Elidibus before the shard fell to darkness. Iirc if you do all the role quest in Shb there is a quest that will explain who's shard Unuhalkai most likely is.
If restoring the Void isn’t an entire expansion, I will be very disappointed. We had an entire expansion dedicated to saving the First and restoring it to being functional without us. The Void is not only in far worse shape than the First was (thus more difficult to save), but it is also far more developed and important lore-wise than the First was.

But what are you going to have 9 zones of black sky and desolate wastes? Doesnt make an expansion, a great tale but not an expansion
@@JimC1984 who’s to say that is all there is? We were just introduced to four individuals connected to different elements. While the cloud of darkness might be the head honcho, who is to say other powerful voidsent haven’t shaped there territories to their liking?
@@852primus and the four fiends is new and not cameo content? Didnt yoshi p say he wanted to sway away from taking other final fantasy stories and rely on the strength of 14s own creation and lore? Just saying it goes against alot of what they say. Golbez and the four fiends seems like a side content thing or relic hunt and the ( maybe zenos) avatar in the opening and end looks like the msq route. I highly doubt the 4 fiends is somrthing theyd produce for the main story, its ripped straight out of ff4 it would be really bad taste after the HUGE and highly successful hydaelean zodiark saga that was ff14 original lore
I would be highly disappointed if theyre entire MSQ premise was ripped off straight from an old previous ff. Should be a phone game storyline at that point.

@@JimC1984 it isn’t the fact the four fiends are in game but what they represent that I am focused on. Elements other than darkness. In the Void! How? Why? Also the void is the only shard that is unstable so was it affected or not by the end of days? What about dynamis in general. The void is aether starved, so would dynamis be stronger there? Would the song of hope affect it more than other shards or the source? So many questions that need answers.
In the first cutscene, the only thing the voidsent said is "Thus I am Returned". He did not say "Bereft of Saviors." I don't know where you got that from.
If you watch to the end of the final CS which is just an extension he does. I set this up "With the story that follows as well as the pseudo after credit cutscene"

I think Zenos genuinely revived in the 13th because of his pact with the voidsent and strong will, pure speculation though based on his stance in the final scene where he's looking upwards it matches Zenos perfectly but could be stock animation and his appearance kind of resembles Zenos (the flowing not hair on the sides circling his face and the structure of his face).
Redemption arc for Zenos where he cleans up the 13th and returns it to normal?
Also super worried about the comment "you might bump your head and forget the better part of the last decade." Sequel/reboot coming?
Zenos is 100%, confirmed by the devs, dead. He is not coming back.

The story set up 7.0 Meracydia to 8.0 going 13th void that Ighyerom Ascian who got destroy by WoL brought by Azurite destroy once 13th Calamity and heal again and thus Emperor Xande with influence by Emet and Fandaniel there that Xande causing 4th Calamity destruction of Bahamut in Southern Eorzea Meracydia big island. Thus, Crystal Tower become void and voidsent sent to Meracydia.
Dragon were origin from "DragonStar" with Midgarstorm until Omega race invade them. Midgarstorm Father pick up the egg all the brood and went unto Hydalean world and set food on Meracydia. Omega same their own planet something happen set foot on Dragonstar then to Hydalean world. Azadja and Varshana were the 2 dragon sibiling venture unto 13th to Void-world until Azadja went missing suck by Voidworld so considered missing sibiling from Midgarstorm Father. Varshana plan to rescue Azadja venture unto "13th" with Scion-WoL Help!
The 4 is the throne elemental and with black-knight on throne sitting is "Golbez" main villian FF4 who been mind-control by Zelmus another big baddie influencer. Whom, I think his goal is to set wage war and set it right back to original star 13th? Idk. Last but not least that is Zenos voidsent who make him become Reaper in the 13th went back after Zenos die we 1v1 him. Only, issue is Zelmus or Golbez be the real main Anatagonist for 7.0-8.0? or it someone else we not sure. They. might be just semi-Anatagonist not in-actual we may never know.
