I went with the 18.3 for my budget but on white also because they where more cheaper. I had some Old Messi 16 but yeah they are comfortable for it's price, even though I never put on a $200-$300 soccer boots.

I have the 18.1 FG and 18.3 AG in size 44. The 18.1 has a way better heel support. At first, It is hard to step in as it seems very compressed and stiff material. But when completely inside it is a very nice fit for the back part of the foot. Sadly the boot is a bit more roomy in the front...The 18.3 is tigher there, what I prefer, but lacks heel support on both sides. Eventhough the sock's material is more loose and it is the budget version the sock souldn't be separated. I like both shoes and may get another one soon 💪🏻 In general tighter construction is better for me for more ball control and fit. Would be great if Adidas changes this in the next version of the 18.1.
I just bought the 18.2 yesterday because of the nice reviews and specifications from unisport and sr4u that the 18.2 has, and also I tried them on for the first time. My last boots were the 16+ purecontrols, so comparing these with the aces, pretty much I must say that the 18.2 are much better. Only that the striking surface is better on the purecontrols because are laceless, but that's pretty much it
For someone who is the age of 14 and growing the 18.2s are easily the way to go as they are cheap last long and are good for playing in league or anything higher they arnt so expensive you have to whip out the credit card because with a few weeks of working a job you can buy them no problem I would definitely buy these boots again
Definitely go for the 18.1. Lockdown is everything! Jay Mike, you didn't touch on the insoles. How the 18.1 has a better foam insole compared to the boost insole on the 18 plus. The boost should be thicker if they are going to include it.
I’m all for lockdown but the fit in the 18+ feels a lot better and tighter to me. On the insoles, the 18+ comes with a replacement insole which is the same as that of 18.1, so you can use that if you like it more. I’m not really against the Boost, but it doesn’t make a difference either. It’s like the old adidas Comfort insoles only a bit more spongy. /Jay
The predator is not usually not mentioned in the wide feet category..but it actually fits my duck feet (small heel and wiiiiiiide toes) very very very well.

I bout the Predator 18.1 and I absolutely love it, as I am a junior sized footballer I got the cleats for around 70 dollars. It costs around 100 dollars but....

That’s a very fair concern, and if lockdown is important to you, I’d go for the laces. The 18+ is very tight and feels completely uninterrupted on the ball, so in that regard it’s fantastic, but in terms of movement the 18.1 is the better boot as it’ll provide more lockdown and stability. 18.1 is also a bit wider than 18.1. /Jay
Unisport I've had a couple friends try the ace 17+ and they loved it, I prefer the tighter fit because where as I wear a size 10.5, I got skinny feet. I also do a lot of quick turns on the field when I do moves cause that's just what I like to do. So what's more worth sacrificing, lockdown or a tight fit?

Coming back five years later to look at the perfection from the .3’s 😮💨. I never tried the upper models but the .3’s were perfect in my opinion
