My dad gave up his career as an accountant to make sure my mom succeeded as a doctor. Not once did she ever insult him or anything he took care of us, cooked dinner and lunch, took us to our practices. I have been in those shoes too often. I don't allow this. Make the move subtly, if it doesn't work out, give it up to 3 dates max and make the move much more directly. If she denies it, then the best-case scenario is you are already friend zoned and she is just being nice.

So, she probably does things once in a while to give him hope and keep him on the hook, but doesn’t respect or prioritize him and he wants it more than sh, so it gives her the leverage to walk all over him. He’s trapped emotionally.
A former friend of mine was the same way. Was all for female empowerment: women in management/executive positions, abortion rights, etc. However, the moment you bring up a man being a stay-at-home dad, going through some sort of adult education (college or trade school), or even him working from home... she would laugh and say "those aren't real men".

Absolute respect for the guy who has made his money, has enough to live comfortably, has provided for his family and now wants to benefit from the rewards of his labour.
How many men in this world have gone out to work 60/70 hour weeks to provide for a family they will eventually loose because they have neglected them in the name of providing for them. How many relationships have been lost because the man is never there, how many families have been sacrificed in the name of providing a good life for them, only for that man to lose everything he has worked so hard for. Fair play to this guy, recognising he has provided a good life for his family and doesn’t need to work himself to death when they’re already comfortable and will have a good standard of living. Yet all those women out there would happily send him out for more more more and more, yet will never consider getting their hands dirty whilst he gets to put up his feet and live an easy life of sending the kids to school whilst you pretend you clean the house every day.

Thank goodness that I am man who is able to retire early at the age of 46, and I'm going to be 52 in July. I'm a disabled veteran who can no longer work, but can still live comfortably within my means. I laugh at the women who overlook me because I don't have to share what I worked hard for with them. After all, she wants what I enjoy, and I had two wives who missed out. Now I am single and free, and living the life with no worries.

I have been out of work for 3 years now and have been a single, stay at home father. Luckily my mother is awesome and is helping me out through this tough patch. Because of my work I barely saw my daughter for the first two years of her life. Im really grateful I’ve had these 3 years to spend time with my daughter and raise her. I’ve had a chick talk shit about me not working and staying home and I just ignored it cuz she goes out drinking all night everyday and takes care of a dog lol 😂
Yeah, ngl, I'm only 33 so it's not like I've been working a lifetime, but I have been blessed to at one point be able to take my son to work with me and later to stay at home with him for a few months.
Since then, I've been working towards making money from home because I realize what a absolute joy it is to be around my kids as much as I can be and how good it is for them.
My question to that audience of women is if they understood what genuine love is, or if they only know what attraction is.
Not to mention, there is a 0% chance that any 304 in that crowd is half as fun as my son is.
Spend a day with one of those money grubbing 304s?
Or spend a day at a creek with my son who dosent need a dime?
It's not even a competition, these 304s are the opposite of fun.
I would say this though, dude shouldn't have flexed on them like he did though, they showed they only valued money, so he compensated with money.

I'm 42 yrs old and I served in the Army from '00-'05. I did a 6 month tour in Kosovo. Then a year in Iraq in '03. Was in fire fights almost every day for 2 months straight while there..... I'm a disabled Veteran that is a stay at home Dad of 2 boys. My wife of 11 yrs works full time, and she has no problem with me being a stay at home Dad and Husband. I get stuff done here at our home, repairs if needed, and I make sure our boys are well taken care of. My check and her check pays our bills and let's us put money in our savings each month. We live comfortably. So I see NOTHING wrong with this young man being at home. He puts in work.
Thanks for the service. We all have to do things for our families. My wifes job took a crazy salary jump after covid and I simply wasn’t able to keep up, and with daycare prices… it’s almost impossible. 2/3 if not more of my check would be to pay for daycare, If our daughter even got in off the waitlists 🤷🏻♂️

That's why we try to budget just my check for our living expenses. Her working is a little extra for fun, savings, and other things. Works out pretty good. We're smokers also. So if we quit (which we plan to), that'll be an extra $400 in our pockets.

You could only learn and not argue, if you did, it was, I fought German's for you, not just from one voice. Step forward to 2019 when I went back to pay a visit. Example, technical billing had 4 people, technical accounts had 5 or 6. Now, same everything, about 40 on each team. This was before computers, everything was calculated by hand. A disgrace. I'm a stay at home dad. My wife just happens to have a far better paying job than me in a less demanding, physically, field. I still run the finances, and she treats me like a man. There is no emasculation for me. She fell in love with me because I'm a man, who does masculine work as a trapper/ cowboy while she kills it as a criminal defense lawyer. I get to play catch with my son, teach him how to ride horses and work cattle, I discipline him when he disrespects his mother, I fix things that are broken around the house or work on DIY projects, we take turns cooking dinner, I do odd jobs, ranch hand related, occasionally so I can take us on vacations, or buy gifts or have my own spending money, but she still pays the bulk of the bills or will surprise me with a vacation she paid for with no ill will about it. Some of these alpha youtube grifters make it out to where men have to earn more than their partner to be head of the house and respectable. Naw, I have the presence of the household because I act like a man and a loving husband. I still put boundaries on my wife and she does the same. I have a niece who just recently got married to her long time simp on and off boyfriend. As a new stay at home dad I get the same vibes from people, even those close to me that know what I've been through and done to help put me and my wife in our current position. She is the main breadwinner now, but that's because i helped lay the foundation for us.I worked 6 days a week, sun up to sun down, no holidays no vacations for 15 years straight grinding, while my wife got an education that is now taking care of us. But I get treated as if I'm a succubus.

Despite “how much I meant to her”, she could never make the time to go on a date, always “too busy”. She wouldn’t even bother responding to my texts often for days.
Guys, if she treats you like this, she only wants you around for emotional validation, someone she can express her feelings to, someone to “call and cry” like this guy said. They don’t actually care about you, they just use you. Of course they know you like them, but they just don’t care because it benefits them, in a toxic way. I removed her from all my socials and and glad that weight is off my shoulders now.
